Madmax 9,219
Nevermind. Park is pathetic, and anyone who thinks otherwise about him is just being different for the sake of being different.

I doubt if anyone would choose him as a first choice draft pitch .
lionsden 4,689
Good choice - possibly the outstanding centre-half in Europe atm, alongwith Thiago Silva.Excellent defensive pair there but I would prefer Dortmund's Mats Hummels, who I feel is the most underrated footballer currently, to Thiago silva. They should have his picture next to the word unbreakable in the dictionary.

BVB will do great if they can keep him and Subotic at the club for a long time.

The last defender who impressed me as much as Thiago is Nesta, he makes defending a joy to watch.

DYC. 7,542
Riccy?Excellent shout but I honestly think Thiago will surpass Riccy. Riccy lacked strength and wasn't the best of players in the air. Still one of the best defenders I've ever seen. Whether Thiago will reach Nesta's level or even become better than him.. that's a tough task. LDN Blue 7,903
Hmm.. With Juan Mata arriving I'm going to pass on saying David Silva.Sergio Aguero I think. I would've said Suarez, but he's a cunt

I would've said Suarez, but he's a cunt Hit the nail on the head, Aguero is probably my favourite non chelsea player. Been watching him ever since we we're first linked and I just fell in love with his game. Speaking of Thiago Silva I remember when we were linked with him heavily back just around the time with signed Ivanovich, he was being quoted at around 4 mil. Now his worth probably 7 times that. Hummels looks solid alright, think he would be more suited to the premiership as well.

Imagine BVB's future if they could manage to keep him and Subotic together for a decade or so. But I'm afraid that as soon as they have a bad season, the vultures will start circling over those two. Can see him returning to Bayern if it happens. We are gonna have to agree to disagree on this one guys Haha fine by me mate

I can't wait to see him and Gotze in the UCl this season. The german National team scares me to death tbh lol. Similar to Belgian and Spanish NT. . . Too many talent to choose from

I'm still surprised he hasn't been linked with some big European club's yet this summer.
LDN Blue 7,903
Don't see the link?Don't get me wrong, not saying Mata is better than Silva.Just thinking, in the area of the pitch we could most do with is Aguero playing just off Tevez. He's a creator and a scorer.Mata is creative and can spot the runs of the forwards and if he was played in a no.10 role, he'd carry it out very well. I'm not suggesting we're going to even play Mata in that role, but would we, then I'd want Aguero to play in front of him with Torres. Bundesliga has become their happy hunting ground over the last two summers, Strong German contingent there with Ozil, Khedira, Altintop and Sahin.
