Styles 9,790
So you have the choice of taking one player from any team in the league, who do you go for and why?My choice is David Silva. Simply an amazing player who is exactly what we need i.e. vision, technical skill and final pass ability.
HRiver 1,512
Aguero. He's definitely not the type of player we need right now considering the amount of the strikers in our squad, but I think he's great.

Madmax 9,219
Ji Sung Park. Been a massive fan of him ever since his PSV days under Hiddink. Fantastic commitment and energy, great temperament. Can always count on him to deliver in a big game. Versatile as well, playing anywhere across midfield and the flanks. Chips in with a fair few goals and assists as well while always staying disciplined positionally and never ignoring his defensive duties. Great commercial value too, look how much Utd have benefited in the Asian market. The quintessential team player.
Styles 9,790
Messi.Oh lol of course, silly me. Messi is the best player of his generation. I laugh when people compare him with Ronaldo and ask who is the best.Ronaldo has changed so much over the years. He is now just an athlete who runs in straight lines and shoots on sight. He lost all his magic and flair.

Only player I would take from Utd is Rooney and possibly Nani.
lionsden 4,689
Wayne Rooney without a doubt. He makes Man Utd thick and would vastly improve our team. sometimes I feel he's more of a playmaker/attacking midfielder than a striker.Honorable mention: Kompany, Silva and Van persie (if he can manage to stay injury free that is)

We have too many individualistic players anyway, we lack someone like him.
cfc-meleady 192
Wilshire, as much of a wanker that he is, he's a quality young player.
Slam Dunk 1,442
Tevez. All day, every day. Best CF in the league on his day, imo.

I agree with you that he can pretty much do everything in the final third. It's why the Sneijder to Utd rumor makes no sense to me, he does everything Sneijder can do but 10x better. Can Park significantly improve our main weakness, lack of creativity?I seriously doubt that

Tomo 21,751
Have to agree with styles and say Silva.I disagree with Messi being the best of this generation personally on top form Fat Ronaldo pisses all over any-one ive personally ever seen. Styles 9,790
Most games. First name on the sheet in crunch matches.Surprising to say the least. He's an important player for Utd because he suits their style in the crunch games i.e. soaking up pressure and hitting on the counter. I'd rather we play and take the initiative and I don't think he has the sufficient quality to play a part in that sort of game.Hard worker with very little quality imo. Picking him would be a wasted choice but to each their own.

Can Park significantly improve our main weakness, lack of creativity?I seriously doubt thatProbably not in the conventional sense, no. And that's not why I want him anyway because we've got Mata and possibly Modric for that. With those two in the side you need someone to 'bust a gut' ... do the dirty work of ensuring that things keep ticking over and the engine room functions with discipline. -------------------Torres---------------------------------------------------Sturridge--------Mata-------------------------------------------------Park----Modric-----Ramires----Cole--------Terry------Alex-------Ivan----

Rooney needs to show he can keep his current form for a whole season. And the third place goes to Vincent Kompany, what a player.
