Think you misunderstood what he's saying. We are too late, and the people we are getting now, do we really need them so desperately?

Another young GK and another young striker (Lukaku), whilst are excellent investment and will prove to be good signings, shouldn't be our priority. By focusing to much on luxuries rather than neccessities we have missed out on perfect targets for us.

Already what should have been our top targets are slipping away, you have to be proactive not reactive, and it seems as though we are proving to be the latter, once again.
