  1. Man. it will make things that much worse for them if he doesn't score Monday. We can all hope. I think they'll want to play him against us to possibly prove a point. But also if they don't start Rooney it's probably that they would sub in Chicharito instead since he LOVES scoring on us so much. I still want Rooney But either way this whole ordeal isn't making Moyes look good. Jose really needs a manager that can compete with him on mind games and interview banter. I won't miss all trophies Fergie racked up, but I will miss that rivalry. I just don't think there's anybody else close in England right now.
  2. I like Willian. But I agree with the no room for him argument as of now. I don't want to see Mata leave. I know he had a weak match Wednesday, but he's been so valuable to us since he joined.
  3. Suburban cops I don't care for at all. But city cops are all kinds of rad a lot of the time. I get tickets sometimes, but also get out of more than a few by just being ultra polite and not arguing.
  4. My friend that supports United just said he things Rooney for Hazard and Ivanovic is a good deal. Also he says if it's cash outright we should pay no less than 73m for Rooney. I'd ask what's being put in Manchester's water. But this guy lives in Austin Texas.....
  5. Yeahhhh. We for sure had some gaps. But we definitely got fucked multiple times.
  6. I'm so tired of suarez dominating headlines anywhere i'm trying to get football news. He should get banished to somewhere ridiculous like the mls with dempsey. I don't want to have to read about or watch him on tv again if I don't have to. Just don't sell him to the Dallas franchise. I don't know how well i'll be able to sleep at night if I know he's living in the same city as me. No matter how much someone values him as a footballer and even if you forget every cunty thing he's done before the season's end his current antics should be enough to where anyone shouldn't want him at their club. Also i'd be happy with this thread being locked. Ha.
  7. Right. And JT himself has even mentioned Luiz as a preference for the next captain. I really see him and Mata being the next JT and Lampard for our club if we keep them around.
  8. don't see why selling Luiz is even an option. We don't need the money and I don't think they can/will offer enough where the money would be better than keeping Luiz. I realize anything can happen. But we don't need to be a selling club and Luiz is making it clear as of late he wants to stay here. Everyone wants him now after the Confederations Cup and they'll want him even more after the World Cup. If Luiz wants to stay we shouldn't even consider selling. To me he's a big part of the current positive image of the Chelsea squad. Everyone loves him, kids, adults, the other players. The longer he stays he'll only become more important to and more of a leader to the club.
  9. Even if Rooney said he's staying at United and suarez started wearing Chelsea shirts everyday, camping out in front of The Bridge, and begging to play here I still don't want him. Rooney is a bit of a cunt, for that matter so is Terry. But it's a complete different level. And I agree that even Jose can do so much. I don't think it's any coincidence that he had less success at Real where players have worse attitudes and more of them think they are bigger than the club. Jose is great. But a player still needs to have the right attitude and be willing to put the club before themselves. That's just not who suarez is. He's going to always do and say exactly what's best for him. That's not what people think of when they think of what really makes a great Chelsea player and eventually legend and I sure as hell don't want that to become our image.
  10. I'd be fine with that. Just keep him the fuck out of the Blue shirt. He's just a level or 3 beyond the kind of scumbag i'm willing to overlook for good performance. It shocks me that we would even consider him.
  11. No way! Even if goes to Arsenal they won't be good enough to win anything. They had RVP, Song, Walcott, and Fabregas for a good while and couldn't get a damn thing done. Even suarez joining the current squad isn't going to turn them into trophy winners. I just want him out of England. The sooner the better.
  12. I think it's going to get harder and harder to get Ronaldo back there the farther it goes from Sir Alex resigning.
  13. So what if we just shut each transfer thread down at 149? Also that Liverpool comment almost made me spit out my beer in shock. Good one. Ha.
  14. It's over. Rooney to Crawley Town. http://www.crawleytownfc.com/news/article/luke-rooney-signs-380282.aspx
  15. Too bad west ham don't have the money for suarez. They only didn't sign mboyo, a convicted rapist, because of supporters disapproving. For suarez they may not care.
  16. Definitely don't watch the movie Earthlings if you think that's bad.
  17. I think some clubs are holding onto hope that he can be forced or persuaded elsewhere. But Lewandoski has stated so many times over that he wants to move to Bayern and Klopp has even said he's accepted that will happen. I like the guy but I wouldn't want him playing for us if that's not what he wanted to do.
  18. Lewandoski is pretty much set for Bayern next season.
  19. I also agree with Moses in the second half. I think he's been most effective for us by far when he's come on as a at or during the second half.
  20. I would be upset with that. But I don't think even Rooney can be enough for Arsenal to win The League and doubtfully even the FA Cup or League Cup. I guess I could see him wanting to go as a last option. But to me I can't imagine the prospect of going from a club that is competing for several trophies a year and typically winning one to a club that hasn't won a trophy since before Twitter was started being very appealing to a player like Rooney.
  21. I may sometimes not feel awesome after a long night waking up for the weekend matches that start 6-11 am my time. But there's admittedly something fun about getting up first thing, having a few beers(or more depending how things go), and watching your team play. Especially if you have a group of people watching, drinking. It also almost completely eliminates the girlfriends getting mad because you won't skip the game and go do ____. They can't get mad at what they aren't awake for, ha. And an added bonus is when people try to claim that I can't be a "real" Chelsea supporter because I live in Texas it can be nice to throw how early I have to get up at them.
  22. Well, I'm just saying typically I would choose the shirt for someone who had been here for a season or two and was a favorite of mine. I want the guy at Chelsea, but realistically he wouldn't be my favorite member of the squad immediately upon signing. Different people get different names on the back for different reasons.
  23. As for the Rooney marketing. I'd buy his shirt guaranteed. He wouldn't be shirt I would personally want most. But it would be a must have to wear to watch matches against United and to fuck with their fans in general.
  24. Ok. Thank you. I was looking for a response that would show my preference for Torres or Lukaku getting the start today without getting an overdrawn Torres debate started. It's possible that as much as I love Reddit it's making me afraid to talk about football on the internet. ha.
