yeah, Courtois was great in Atleti last season which is why we're in a crossroad with him now. If we load him again we may lose him as he keeps showing how much potential he has. If we bring him to the Bridge he won't be happy - as he said he'd prefer to have another off-loan season rather than be in the bench the whole season and I understand him. It's even more important for goalies to play than other guys because it's all about getting experience and avoiding getting rusty. If we bring him to the Bridge we would have to move Cech to the bench and that's inconceivable in my head. He was too good this season - despite a few mistakes (that are expected) and I think he has at least another good season on him. But how much longer should we invest in one of our greatest players in recent history over giving the chance to the next star? I wonder if those loans won't end up with Courtois going somewhere else. He seems pretty excited to play in La Liga if you ask me and I don't want us to lose such a promising player. So yeah, his case is curious to say the least and I hope Mourinho can talk to him and find a good common ground. I'd keep him in a loan for another year, but before I would prolong his contract and increase his contractual fine.

He sort of already said something that reassured me enough in the interview. He's not going to aim a lot of new players, will focus on developing the ones we already have - which is a good thing. I'm sure he'll bring a new CB, DM and at least two more FW. But I don't expect him to ask too many players. We don't need too many players at this point. we have deficiencies in center defense and in the attack imo, if we sign a couple of good guys on each, we're good.

I don't know if it's because I'm using Firefox of it it happens to anyone, but there's some sort of half-invisible bar that is fixed in every page and sometimes it prevents me from clicking on threads. it's the talkchelsea.net bar and every time I click on it, it redirects me to the home page. Is there away to make this go away? It's annoying. I want to talk in the Terry thread, but the bloody bar won't let me!

I don't care about his personality - although I don't mind it as much as other people do. What others call arrogant, I call confident But I'm not here to like his personality, I'm here to like his work and he's one of the best managers in the world. I love his style and he's what we needed. So that's why I'm happy, but I agree, he's not the most likeable guy around. Mou is an acquired taste
