  1. that's what I was about to say (not the amount itself because I had no idea of it until you posted). If it's true we've included such a clause in his loan contract it's obviously we'd ask for an exorbitant amount of money for one match. That's probably the amount PER MATCH, as each match is a different case. So Chelsea board proves yet again to be very smart. Either Atlético pays the ridiculous amount of money if they're desperate or they play with a keeper that hasn't been playing at all for them at the final stages of the most important competition for them. We're brilliant, really.
  2. wow that's insane.... only thinking about it... I can't get my mind around it. It's out of this world. FIVE consecutive SF in UCL? And people don't know why he's the special one? We're lucky to have this man.
  3. According to the article on DM EPL schedulers said they're moving the game preceding our UCL tuesday game from Sunday to Saturday whether it's Sunderland or Liverpool, so I don't get why are people saying it'll be changed to the same day? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2600692/The-Happy-One-After-Jose-Mourinhos-moans-Premier-League-Chelseas-fixtures-aid-European-quest.html I'd rather we played Tuesday in Berlin the first leg, then Sunday at Anfield and then Wednesday at the Bridge. That's the perfect scenario in the draw for me and if we don't get Bayern, the same applies to any of the Spanish sides - first leg Tuesday away and second leg Wednesday at home. The worst is playing first Wed and then Tuesday because it means we'll also have little time to recover BEFORE Liverpool as well. I really want to avoid RM though
  4. I made that on purpose... between girls - and I have a handful of American girlfriends in another forum - as well on my Twitter - we say we have a boner all the time. The same way we call men cunts. But fret not, I'm 100% woman, born and raised and I have never even changed anything on my body, like boob jobs, aesthetic surgeries and definitely not sex change surgery I can't think of one single thing I'd say 'no' to the guy Come on, boys! Girls can be girls as well and talk about things too
  5. he played some great EPL matches for us early this season (not much last season though). It'll take longer for him to adapt to playing English football. Hopefully he will adapt fully but I think he played well in the summer and fall.
  6. you know a club is special (or a manager is) when ex-players keep showing love and love and love - gratuitously, because they don't owe anyone anything. No matter how little they stayed or how long, we have so many testaments to that, so many players passionate about us. It makes us special and makes me so proud!
  7. yes, he is. The only player. We go with Luiz, Willian, Mikel and someone else with only one card away next match. This guy is just so passionate about this club, this shirt and his job that I don't give a fuck if his crosses are terrible and he compromises our attacks way more than acceptable at this level of competitiveness and football. He makes it up. we've won two european titles and a league with this guy there. He gives his all, he's a great defender and while it'll be great to watch Azpili playing in his rightful position, we'll miss Iva, simply because to afford Azpili in the right we have to play Cole - who hasn't played a football match (except a few minutes against Stoke) in more weeks than I can count and who was already in a deep dip of form even before he's been injured. Cole was displaced by the team from a guy that was playing at the opposite side of his natural position and who's struggled to find his feet there in the first few matches. That's how bad Cole was, but let's hope he'll at least defend decently (his slowness really concerns me). But I have a lot of respect and love for Mr. Branislav Ivanovic and I don't think we can afford him to leave (although I do think Mourinho could try to reverse him instead of Azpili next season if Luke doesn't come)
  8. Honestly? I'm disgusted by a few comments here, starting with his joke about his wife and then about the damn shirt and now the motivation or lack of heart/focus or whatever what shit I've read HERE IN A CHELSEA FORUM today. First of all, he joked about his wife. If you don't take a joke, get a life, because yours must suck if you take things always so seriously Second, it wasn't the wisest move to wear PSG shirt during the interview. But the kid is only that a kid - that was probably disappointed and sad over the defeat, especially with a goal in the end like that, and I'm positive the last thing is his head was whatever he was wearing. Did I like it? No! Do I think he should haven't done that? Absolutely. But I won't condemn him for something that I'm 100% was an honest and most of all an innocent mistake. But then I've had enough with the implication he was subbed because his heart wasn't in us and he wasn't fully committed. It disgusts me because first of all, he may be a father of two, but this is a boy! He's a 23 who was willing to play with pain for us!!!!!! That's just utter bullshit. The guy sacrifices himself, tries to give his best despite the pain and the risk and some supposedly called 'fans' think he was subbed off for lack of commitment and for thinking about a stupid bid? Hasn't he showed in many matches prior to this one how much he tries and does for us? Isn't it enough that didn't want to face away from the pressure and responsibility? Give the guy a FUCKING BREAK. Some of you just embarrass me more than I can cope. It's an embarrassment to read all those implications in the last few days about a guy like him. You look at Hazard for five minutes and you see what an innocent and pure heart he has. He's a child inside still - reason why he made maybe an inappropriate joke given the time and why he didn't even realize what he was wearing during that interview. I'm so done with some of you... and I really wish you were done with Chelsea too or at least this forum. Both the club and Eden deserve better than some of you and yeah, I may sound like I have something stuck up in my ass, but not more than some of you with the implications you did. Embarrassing indeed.
  9. I know we should do everything in our power to keep Courtois, but we can't despise this man. It seems like the perfect solution is being negotiated. Courtois renews with us, stays loaned at Atletico one more season and then comes to the Bridge to stay a long time. I know Petr's made some mistakes this season that cost us, especially in the last few matches, but the man is just that, a man, he's fallible just like Courtois is. Or don't you think Thibaut also makes mistakes that cost things to Atletico? Being a keeper is always a harsh thing. One little bit of reluctance, doubt or even a wink and boom, goal conceded. They're so exposed and their glories seem easily forgotten and never praised and recognized enough. This man has my respect and support, even if he's disappointed me lately with his mistakes, but I can overlook those things based on what he's done for us and what he shows again that he can still do.
  10. He and Terry - although Terry more than him - showed some shakiness the last couple of matches, but today he was perfect. Flawless, this guy really surprised me. I thought he was just some another talentless - but committed - football player - English or not - that would never be more than average and deserving of being at Chelsea's bench at the most. How wrong I was and I'm humbled to be corrected by him and delighted to watch him grow so much and gives us just his everything. With guys like him, Terry, Iva and Azpili as our back for, I have nothing to ask. It's not even about being technical - although they mostly are - but how those four, along with Cech give their best, match in, match out. They make mistakes - just like anyone else (same thing with Luiz, but he makes them more often this season and normally his mistakes jump to the eyes), but they're reliable and true Chelsea players.
  11. Deco was at Stamford Bridge though
  12. I don't look for them, they come to me. I just keep coming across them. All I write in my searches is Chelsea, lol, but that's SUCH a funny pic, especially because it seems Mourinho is giving them instructions. The position is so funny!
  13. rapist smile and unique/peculiar celebration player? now onto serious matters, I said last week that this guy doesn't get enough praise, posts and recognition from us. This thread should have much more pages. He's been immense again, flawless, gave his all, amazing, I have no enough words to praise him. Also it'll be a pleasure to watch him playing in the RW in the first SF leg although I really don't want to even think of Cole playing in the left. Unless Mourinho decides to play with three defenders, adding Luiz, and playing with more guys in the midfield supporting the wingers... anyway, I'm sure Mourinho will work around it, but it'll be great to watch him playing in his natural position.
  14. Eto'o owning Mourinho with the strikers comment (he has great humor and José loves it lol). And also his song so much love for this guy
  15. so many funny pics as I always say: Chelsea - the house of the good booties
  16. So disappointing that he didn't play this epic match. He needed it. Of course I'm saddened about his absence in the next few matches, but this match and how it played out was much more important than whether we win, draw or lose against Swansea and Sunderland. It's the kind of match that marks your career and makes you take several steps in the development curve (mentally wise). Also we've proved twice in a row that we can play without him (the Stoke match was one of the best we played this year - 2014 - and he wasn't missed in the pitch tonight either) which is great for us and for him. It means we aren't an one-man-team and that there isn't way too much pressure on the kid's shoulders. That said, it's much easier when he's around and he will become our match-winner sooner or later. It's not a dig on him. I'm very sad he's missed it, but I'm sure they'll be new opportunities, maybe the next one is even in two weeks and three weeks from now - if he's healthy. Hopefully he'll be there and will written some history by himself too.
  17. This sums up well who Schurrle is. There are some poachers, who kill matches simply because they're at the right place, at the right time, unmarked, a few yards from the goal. That's only partially who Schurrle is. He's a star player, yes and he's made to score. But he can score the most astonishing goals, not only the poachers-goals. His finishing is sublime (and I remember people were trying to convince us - the one who didn't know him better - that his finishing was awful because of a stupid stat saying he had the worse scoring/shots % in Europe - or some other shit like that). During ESPN 'MOTM-style' tv show that started just after the match, the pundit chose his woodwork and his goal to talk about his movement. He's smart. He isn't in those positions by coincidence. It's because of his vision and also because of instinct. He was made for that. I also voted on him as my MOTM not only because of the technical and tactical (he was everywhere when he didn't have the ball), but because of his character. He grew when the situation became more dire. With the team biggest star off and he stepping to fill the shoes, in a situation he's never been before (for better or for worse Oscar, Hazard and Willian had important night at Champions League and Europa League), with a lot of pressure and responsibility and he did as if he's been there as many times as Eto'o or Terry. Unbelievable. I'm so proud of him and so happy for him being a Blue - a player and a fan. In addition to his quality, he put his heart in the presentation. He fought, he gave his everything and that's what counts. He'll never reach Hazard's level of technique and talent, but he makes up for it with a few other things such as his movement, his finishing, his coldness, his heart and his dedication. And now his character. What an immense guy he is. So happy I wrote his name in my away kit. He deserves it and I'll buy his shirt again come next season.
  18. I remember that clearly, it was very similar to his clearance in the Confeds Cup when Pedro was definitely going to draw the match to Spain (I mean the movement he did to avoid the corner). the difference? Then it was still first half, he had a lot of gas in his tank and he raped and ripped the ball away avoiding the goal just behind the post. Today it was around mark 90' and he barely had strength to touch the ball and after he did it, it barely moved the few yards to reach Iva. It really touches me, but I'm a softie
  19. - although I should add another emote. How come after a performance like this you talk about selling him? You're so plastic it HURTS. You don't belong here, in all honesty. mark my words, kid. Mourinho will NEVER allow Chelsea to sell Luiz after tonight's game. He just did everything Mourinho could have asked for before the match. He was a warrior, did his very best and he just made me cry with his instagram post. That's an human being who felt awful for what he caused at Paris (even if I don't blame him for the OG, I don't think he could have avoided it and I don't think it was a foul to start with). That's what he said: davidluiz_4 13 minutes agoSó Deus sabe oq senti esses dias,e só eu sei o quando ele falou pra meu coração,eu n seria nada sem ele! Obrigado a toda minha família, todos os amigos, todos torcedores e a todos aqueles q torcem por mim,eu lutarei sempre por vcs! Deus é fiel,não há caminho melhor doq o dele! #fé "Only God knows what I've felt these days, and only I know how much He's said to my heart that I wouldn't be anything without Him. Thanks to all my family, all my friends, all supporters and all of those who support me, I will always fight for you guys. God is faithful and there's no better path than His #faith Sorry, you don't buy that and you don't sell that. You cultivate it and are thankful for having a guy that will always fight for us, that will feel awful for a mistake he did (even if it he couldn't help it - which imo he couldn't). Mourinho knows it. And I'm renewed in my love and respect for this guy. He can be a bench warmer for all I care, I don't want him to leave and I don't think he will.
  20. I'm so fucking happy!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll rewatch it tomorrow and will try to talk about tactics, I was having a tumblr overdose of memes and gifs and stuff, it's exhilarating. How many times have we lacked heart and clutch recently? I get that some of our players are young, others while a bit older, are inexperienced, and that's why I think the right thing to do was wait for time to make its work. I'm positive they matured a couple of years beyond their ages tonight. Those things you carve, you don't just get them when you want (let alone buy), but they were giants there. Never-give up attitude through 90 minutes, playing with their hearts, drawing their blood. I'm so proud of them. I'm POSITIVE Azpilicueta, Oscar, Willian and Schurrle (especially Azpili and André) will NEVER be the same after this. Remember us against Juve and Shakhtar last year? That's what we missed to win those matches. I just wish Hazard had played longer, but he'll have his chance of overcoming adversity and coming on top of it and grow some too. Those matches are invaluable and what those players did today is something that changes you. That's why older players handle it, because they've been there and done that. It was work as usual for Cech, Terry, Lamps, Iva, Eto'o and even Luiz. Mourinho called Luiz a monster, saying the midfielders were animals and the defense gave everything (all of which is true and accurate imo). David showed his love and respect for us, he put his heart in his performance and write my words, he bought his permanence in the club and when a player gives what he did today, you just keep him. Schurrle was simply unbelievable. This guy has never been in a remotely similar situation like this before and he showed his character and stepped up and did everything. His woodwork was so unlucky and his confidence will skyrocket I'm absolutely sure. Even Ba had his moment. I have a lot of problems with Ba and I think his attitude is one of his problems, but he proved his showed his true colors there, even if he's one of the most clumsy players I've seen (maybe it's because he's too big for a footballer, lol). Oscar and Willian were restless and they actually had a very good match in addition. Oscar was actually very good in the first half and he was also unlucky in that amazing free kick. He also learned a lot tonight I'm positive. While those guys learned last year in the Europa League final, this is another level, the opponent is another level, it's played at our stadium, it's an unique experience (not so much for us, Chelsea ) and I'm happier about the growth we'll see in this team rather than the SF qualification. Of course I'm happy for qualifying and I'll tell you what, I fancy us beating anyone (but I'd rather Madrid drew Bayern, so we don't draw Madrid in the SF nor in a potential final as Madrid would NEVER beat Bayern in Germany). Anyway, all those guys were heroes there, we played like Chelsea. That's who we are. We may someday have the fanciest, most fluid and offensive football in the world, I'm positive we'll never lose our heart and clutch in matches like this. That's what makes us us.
  21. you forgot that crazy save from their keeper in Lamps free-kick., 3x2 for us
