Way to make the most of it!! ANELKA!!!
-
I've been on pins and needles all week!! Come on lads!!
-
Come on Chelsea, make it 3!! The commentators just said that Reina is the most consistent keeper in the PL and my only thought was that isn't necessarily a compliment... you can be consistently bad or consistently good LOL Sometimes I don't think they have time to think their comments through
-
thanks I do have audio via my Sirus radio thank goodness. But the commentary from you guys help give me a visual to go with my audio!!
-
I'm with you Fox Soccer decided to put the biggest match of the season on Fox Soccer Plus which is an extra $15 a month just for it!!! I'm so ticked off Thanks for the updates guys, I appreciate it you're the best

I think JT has let his personal life affect his performance on the pitch. He needs to get his mind on the game and up his performance. I don't think it's just the "Bridge thing"... his parents drag him through the mud every chance they get too. Yes, he made mistakes and he's paid dearly for them... I think he thought he was "untouchable" before all that but I doubt he feels that way anymore, after all he did get the England captaincy stripped from him because of his extramarital hijinks and he most likely lost the respect of a lot of players... so he's probably got a lot of crap going on that none of us know about or honestly care to know about. However when he is on that pitch he needs to be in the game and 100% and I don't believe that he has been. Should we sell him??? NO, but he should have to sit out a few matches or at least be subbed when it is obvious he's not playing at his best. He is an awesome player who has lost focus, hopefully a few games out on a red, which he hates will be the kick in the butt he needs. I'll start saying my prayers that it is. btw... just a side note... i thought we hand a friendly agreement not to correct/point out/make fun of each others grammar and spelling errors... or am I mistaken??

Welcome from a fellow American

woohoo Ray!!! you rock!!

I was a little worried when I sat down to watch the game and the US ESPN broadcast started with the US soccer commentator (notice the wording there) and I almost began to cry (I did have to be because my children were in the room). They completely suck when it comes to covering football and should be banned from covering any game that does not involve an american team. I am completely serious about this. ... of course the should just be banned but yeah that won't happen. Maybe I can sneak in to ESPN with some duct tape... you know what they say "silence maybe golden but duct tape is silver" Anyway my fears were alleviated when they switched to the British broadcast as the game started!! thank goodness because they don't talk over the entire game about useless non-related football crap!! The game was awesome!! I loved it but did log in earlier because we have guests and watched it on the DVR. Missed the chat tho!! Love the comments as the game goes... Hope y'all had fun celebrating!!

Hey Chad Here's the link to Chelsea in America. It's the best place to find out information for all things Chelsea happening in the US, even better than the Chelsea site, definitely join, it's worth it to get the updates and insider tips for the games and summer tour dates. I went to the game in Dallas before I joined and have been kicking myself ever since LOL This little corner of the net is great for the day to day Chelsea banter The gang here is great and very up to date not to mention they put up those of us who wish we were in England LOL
-
Welcome! Where in Michigan?? I grew up in Brooklyn, have you heard of it?
-
Hi Chad,<div>Welcome from a fellow American. I was going to say fellow yankee but I live in Memphis so that would be a stretch LOL </div><div>Stick around and post! </div><div><br></div><div>I'll try and keep the Americans up to date about any US tour dates that I hear about via Chelsea in America</div>

only when I'm at the stadium! It is so dull on TV! luckily we have a minor league team here in town, so we can go to a game with out breaking the bank! I will get plenty of football through the spring tho, my daughter's spring season started end of Feb., my son's starts next weekend and the school I teach for had their home opener last Thursday!! So I have lots of games to watch in addition to our blues.

Thanks Zolayes

what will sacking the manager get us? The 4th manager in as many years?? Perhaps that is the core of the problem, why perform for a manager who most likely will be gone by season's end. All these changes are not helping the club, they are hurting the club. Add in the recent injury troubles and it's disastrous. but hey this is just my humble (very humble) opinion) which I'm sure you will now precede to rip to shreds and tell me I'm full of crap!
-
We are all watching, but we're trying to find the POSITIVES instead of concentrating on the negatives. We're trying to support the team. Can't you watch the game and find something positive or do you only see the negatives?
-
why do the commentators say such dumb things??? "it's a real football match now" what has it been up until now a pretend game with actors?? Oh, and when did we become the second best defense in the league? (that scary moment aside ... geez)
-
I love your tirades CJ They wouldn't want me in there... my students tell me that it's awful when I yell at them when I'm disappointed in their performance on a test. Apparently I really do have that "teacher voice" that makes you stop dead in your tracks and start behaving like a 5 year old who got caught in the cookie jar! LOL
-
Relic, I can just imagine CJ giving the 1/2 time chat to the lads
-
Drogba YES!!!!!
-
first half has been blah hope second 1/2 is better
-
it's being aired here in the US the game has been frustrating thus far
