  1. No Zhirkov again? Jesus at this rate, Winston Bogarde has played more first team games then him.
  2. Although I wonder if Arsene Wanker will go fetch his rules book
  3. 29th January 2005 - FA Cup Fourth Round Chelsea 2-0 Birmingham City
  4. Problem is he might have a slump of form as he will probably be devastated that his country will not win the African Cup of Nations.
  5. We can not be over confident in an FA cup match, anything can happen, remember Barnsley. Although Carlo seems to have made the players not act over confident and lazy when we play lower division teams like Arsenal.
  6. Ivory Cost 2-3 Algeria Drogba and Kalou are coming back
  7. When was the last time Birmingham lost? Because the way they have played it's going to be a difficult match to try and get all 3 points.
  8. Great game by Chelsea, nice to see Sturridge get his third Chelsea goal, he has a brilliant striker finisher instinct. Man of the match is John Terry for me.
  9. Patrick van Aanholt on the bench and may get a debut for Chelsea
  10. If we are going to play youth, we should not put 100% focus on one player when we have a few promising youngsters in the rank. Like Jim said, we can't take chances in an FA cup match, yes if we are doing well at the end of the first half (winning by 2 goals) then we should play youth in the second half.
  11. Not sure about Deco, he isn't exactly match fit. Hopefully Belletti will perform like he did against Sunderland!.
  12. He will be out for 4-6 weeks http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/Chelsea/8470279.stm Which is less time then expected.
  13. We will need him since Essien will be with a long-term injury, and he always gives performance that are satisfactory enough for the team.
  14. He only came into the public light after we were handed a transfer ban, and after a good cameo appearance against Wolves and a start against APOEL, he has not been blowing my mind into millions of pieces lately, currently in reserve and youth matches a couple of other youngsters have impressed me more (although he did score a good goal against Wolves reserve, but only 1 highlight worth mentioning). That's not to say he will be a failure, but he is just coming out of his gates and has a lot to prove he was worth a transfer ban.
  15. I can still get some relief that their 'beautiful football' leaves gap for teams to score.
  16. http://news.bbc.co.u...uth/8469950.stm Wow, talk about kicking them while they are down.
  17. Now the player who has to fill in his role is either Belletti or *shudders* Mikel.
  18. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/Chelsea/default.stm Terrific! We should go and sue the Ghana FA now.
  19. Congrats to Lampard, finally getting some recognition he deserves.
  20. According from a report (someone said from Sky sports), Essien has to go to hospital due to a injury on his knee during training.
  21. Oh who cares his on my fantasy league team :smiliecap1: More points for me
