The defenders in Holland are about the same level as the English championship, if darren bent played in eredivisie he would average 3 goals per game easy. If Drogba played in eredivisie it would be like watching a horror film of defending every week, his sheer presence would scare the life out of every defender in the league.

What did i tell you, that was not the type of game josh should of been tossed into. We needed every bit of mikel essien ramires's pace power and defensive ability for an onslaught that lasted a life time !

When i think about it though he is really skinny and he could do with a weight training programme. If he can improve his ball keeping skills and put on a bit of muscle then i think he will be a perfect player for us. His pace tackling ability and his creativity is already Chelsea standard !

Yes he was brilliant, i don't think strength is his problem i think his ball keeping skills needs some work. The pace he showed to catch arsehaven and tackle him was just sublime.

I did not say you living in south Africa had anything to do with me. The last thing i want for us to do as a club is put a young player in a dog fight against a top team in the middle of the park. Out of all positions the midfield is the hardest to play in a big match because that is were the game is won and lost. You can get away with it if you play a young winger but a young midfielder in the engine room is taking the piss. Jack wilshere has big game experience, last season he played in big games for Bolton and it was a steep learning curve for him. This season because of arsenal's poor midfield options and Fabregas being injured he has a big big chance, Chelsea fc's midfield is just too strong. The spine of the team is too important, bruma and josh will have to wait and rightly so !

Please stop over hyping josh like this in your arm chair in south Africa. The maradonna dribble was a great goal but it is nothing we have not seen before. We have seen great solo goals in the past and presence, zidane's goal was just unbelievable he knocked the wind out of everyone's lung when he did that. The maradonna goal could of been done by ryan giggs or arjen robben or even messi, the england team were intimidated, name a player that could of done zidanes goal ?
