zhirkov has just become our third signing of the summer.Chelsea say they will now make a "blockbuster" signing. i think it will be pato.

he's not about pace mainly anyway. he's quick but he's about skimming players and strength. he does play dirty aswel.

i don't think we need that many strikers. after sturridge all we need is pato. remember we play with one striker and two wingers.

people say that this is Chelsea's signing not ancelotti's. but ancelotti wanted him at milan but they did'nt want him until Chelsea wanted him.

i think it will be completed tomorrow evening if he has just flown in. he will probably do the medical tomorrow which will take most of the day then agree personal terms. the fee has already been agreed.(£18 million)

Yuri Zhirkov has flown to London to undergo a medical ahead of his £18million move to Chelsea, according to reports in his native Russia. The CSKA Moscow winger has been rumoured to be close to joining the Blues all summer but it now appears likely that he will be unveiled as manager Carlo Ancelotti's first signing next week. The 25-year-old, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United in the past, is thought to be the subject of an £18million fee and will negotiate personal terms once his medical is complete. The Russian daily newspaper Sport Express revealed that Zhirkov had left his homeland to board a plane destined for London earlier on Sunday. As of yet there has been no confirmation from either club but Sport Express claim that CSKA president Eugene Giner confirmed that the Russian international was close to joining the Blues. personally i hope Chelsea don't sign him because i want Chelsea to sign pato. we should let milan buy any striker then we buy pato.

i heard we're having two big signings this summer. we've got turnbull and sturridge who i think are good signings. i would like to see zhirkov, pato, sessegnon, adam johnson and maybe maicon.

reports were saying we would complete the signings of turnbull sturridge and zhirkov before pre-season training starts on monday. yesterday we signed turnbull, today we signed sturridge so im confident we will sign him tomorrow or sunday.

all he has to do is complete a medical and like Chelsea they won't say anything until it is complete.

we need more signings like this we are almost definatly getting ross turnbull and we are being linked with another middlesborough player adam johnson who was mint in the england u21's. but we still need to give chances to the young players we already have like mannciene, stoch, di santo etc...

joe cole won't leave and he just be ashley coles backup he's mainly a left winger and will be competing with malouda and joe cole every week. iv'e read lots of articles saying that he will sign a three year deal tomorrow for £18 million which i think is a fair price and sturridge is set to complete his move tomorrw aswel.
