  1. Would be so hilarious if the deal was off! Redcafe would be in total meltdown...
  2. According to Daily Mail apparently united have prepared a helipad at their training ground...wth New Manchester United signing Juan Mata is expected at the club's training ground within hours. The ยฃ37million man from Chelsea is due to take a helicopter from Battersea and fly straight to United's training ground, where a temporary landing pad has been arranged. Sources close to the player have revealed on Thursday morning that Mata has been told that things are being put in place for his arrival at Carrington.
  3. He's 21 years old, surely he would rather go to Liverpool where he'll have more chance of being a starter? But if we really are going for him I guess Basel is going to milk us dry now when they know we've got plenty of cash to spend.
  4. BBC Sport โ€@BBCSport 6m Manchester United's bid for Juan Mata, believed to be in the region of ยฃ37m, is accepted by Chelsea subject to a medical on Thurs #MUFC #CFC
  5. Props to Gus for turning Sunderland to quite the team! Don't think they'll stand much chance against City in the final tho
  6. United out of the cup...small consolation atleast
  7. Tbh, I've only watched a couple games and I get your point, but as I said I dont feel it's very justified to bring in a brand new ~ยฃ10m midfielder when we have dozens of them out on loan and in the academy. And if we go for Salah it would taste extra bad since we just sold KdB who is arguably the better player.
  8. Rumors about us activating Diego Costa's releasue clause...I think the sooner we sign someone like him (If it's even possible) the better, otherwise if we enter february without any major signing and Mata long gone it might have a negative impact on the club overall, especially if we struggle some games. imagine the chelsea hating media hype if United gets a couple of wins while we go through a rough period of games.
  9. The thing is we have bought so many half-decent AM's recently and then just loaned them out when we've bought better players. I'd rather we brought back one of them instead of spending ยฃ10m on a brand new squad player. Then again I don't know if it's possible for us to get Moses back midseason.
  10. Well, so this is actually happening...I sincerly hope Mou and Co have a deal for a top-striker/AM already prepared, couse there ain't many days left for us to sign anyone in this window. Otherwise I can see this transfer hurting us in the fight for the title, yes Mata hasn't been playing much but there is a big difference if Oscar/Hazard gets injured and we only have Schurrle and/or a player like Salah to replace them with. I'd much rather we sold Juan in the summer even if we would be getting less for him and if he still ended up at old trafford.
  11. Salah...sigh...I'd rather we just called back Moses/Piazon...or better didn't sell both of Kdb and Mata...
  12. Rooney not in the Manu squad for Sunderland tonight!...One could only hope ...
  13. That's in euros not pounds, I guess it would be around ยฃ35-37m...
  14. Well if they want Mata they should be prepared to sacrifice something...And they have Van Persie/Welbeck/Hernandez all who probably would walk into our starting XI as it is now...
  15. Why would we want a pre-agreement for Rooney? We are in much more need of a top striker than they are of a nr 10 playmaker right now...Getting Rooney in january could well win us the title...
  16. Took a quick peek at redcafe, and some people there seems convinced it will involve us getting dibs on Rooney in the summer... How is that a fair deal? We need a top-class striker now...If we have to wait til summer for Rooney surely they could wait for Mata...
  17. Sky Sports News โ€@SkySportsNews 49s Sky Sources: Manchester UTD make ยฃ40m bid for Juan Mata through a third party #SSN Where is PSG when you need them?
  18. Why did we let Kevin go if we are planing to sell Mata? Surely we can't go on with just 4 AM's for 3 positions...And the thought of facing United with Mata in a red shirt next season...*Shivers*
  19. Things is not looking good, even BBC reporting on it now: BBC Sport โ€@BBCSport 1mManchester United have today made an approach for Chelseaโ€™s Spanish winger Juan Mata, says BBC sports editor David Bond #MUFC #CFC Ben Smith โ€@BenSmithBBC 5mJuan Mata did not train with #CFC 1st team today. Not injured. Things now moving quickly towards #MUFC move
  20. Dammit! This might actually happen...I am seriously feeling physically sick just thinking of him playing for manu...I do hope Josรฉ have something sinister up his sleeve and trolls them on deadline day leaving them without a big signing or something...
  21. If a deal is going to happen I can't see why we would just sell him for straight cash, and not get Rooney in return...We are in desperate need of a top striker and it could well be the difference that gets us the title! Still would be very sad to see Mata go, especially to united...
  22. I can't see us selling Mata this window even if PSG came knocking with the same amount of cash now that KdB is gone. If we are going to be a top team and challenge on many fronts(cl,fa-cup, the League) we need to have a top squad, and not sell a quality cam to leave us with only Schurrle left in the middle of the season.
  23. But if so we will have to face a much stronger united next season that may well be up there fighting for the title.
