Yeah, two strikers aswell as Shirley seems a bit unnecessary imo, this could be a great game to give Ake some more minutes if we lead by a couple of goals.

We really need to get more english players in the squad, with Terry gone in a season or two aswell we'll be left with only Cahill as real starter material. Even if we aim to get youngsters from the academy in to the XI, signing one of Barkley or Ward-Prowse in the next coming years would be necessary imo, aslong as they don't go for mega-crazy money.

Ake has been very impressing , one of our best players so far. Remy and Schurrle should have atleast one goal each though, need to stop wasting chances.

Ake as defensive mid anyone? Played there a couple of times under Benitez if I recall correctly. I think that is the biggest question mark, who will pair with Mikel.

Would hope so as that would be beneficial for us, but would be silly by Pellegrini to do that only to try to annoy us. But still don't understand this, as they will need to buy a new midfielder come january anyway, since Lamps is off in february.

I doubt (and hope no one) anyone really see Lamps as a judas,the people who post that stuff are hopefully just in the heat of the moment. He did his job and we all know he can score important goals, that's why it's interesting to see where all the people who were so calm and assured that he would barely play a league cup game for city have gone. He saved an important draw for our rivals and that hurts because in the end, every point matter in the title race. But as I said, i'm not questioning his legacy here or anything like that, it just leaves a really bad taste in my mouth that instead of him getting to say goodbye in a testimonial at the bridge he ends up doing it in a light blue shirt at the etihad, while rescuing our title rivals from a defeat.
