inter looked poor today vs club america Iinter lost in pks). ibra came on ~60th minute and looked mediocre at best with only one decent touch setting up a pretty good opportunity for milito. the fact that ibra came on at all seems a little odd, that is unless the deal is stalled (which means eto'o wants a ridiculous salary). off the subject, but quaresma looked awful. he was slow, at times looked lazy, and wasted numerous crosses by either blasting them through the box or swinging them over the touchline, not sure what's happened to him the last year or so.

Eto'o+40million pounds+Helb (on loan) for ibra....i like ibra probably more than most on this thread, but inter just made out

not sure if inter is being "cheap". seems everyone is in agreement that carvalho, while great when fit, is fighting some injury issues and deco, with injuries of his own, was an awful bust. seems to figure that inter may have the same views on the matter and therefore want a discounted price. that being said, i'd shop carvalho to other teams/leagues that need a little help on the back line (madrid, ac milan-maybe include in some deal to bring pato?, etc.)?

i feel ibra can be a good move, but only if drogba is not part of the deal...inter can have deco and carvalho + cash (probably take lots of cash). that being said, i still feel pato would be the best possible signing left.

what about if robinho is offered plus a ton of cash?

Joe Cole is amazing, but from what I'm reading (of course half is completely made up, but there could be a truth in there somewhere), he's probably off to Tottenham. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised by Zhirkov, but I am definitely underwhelmed by this supposed signing. Anyone know exactly what position Zhirkov is going to compete for? I know he plays up and down the left, but is he primarily a left back, left mid, or left wing?

One of the latest "rumours" I read lately has an Eto to Man City deal already worked out (http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8671_5404299,00.html) so if Barca really want Ibra, then I'd expect something fairly soon. Personally, I would love to see Ibra at Chelsea (but still leaning towards Pato more though). Off the subject, but why no interest (at least that I've seen) in Benzema?

never happen, his wife is definitely calling the shots regarding transfer spots, but have you seen her, I'd try to keep her happy too. Seriously though, I really want to give him one more chance. How bout keeping him until the jan transfer window to see how he's progressing?

bosingwa is better than maicon (who is better than ivanovic and alves) but if bosingwa is used in possible deal to bring either ribery or another high calibre player then the slight drop in talent from bosingwa to maicon is justified. that said, at least we won't be stuck with johnson again

but we may lose one of the best in bosingwa and carvalho is probably headed to inter, so i'd say we need to sign at least one defender (preferably that can play CB and RB). haven't really watched mexes that much so i really don't know if he's the answer, but i just don't want to go thin at the back again and see essien at CB like a couple years past.

seems sheva may end up at Roma, that is if man utd sign vucinic. if not, i wouldn't mind seeing sheva back for one more try (considering both drogba and kalou will miss time due to the African tourney)
