What minuite?

Chelsea site states he's #24.

We built the necessary squad back in 03 and 04. Once you build a strong squad, all it needs is a bit of tweaking buying 2 players here and there, letting one go. We have done that with Zhirkov.

Daniel Sturridge and Franco Di Santo Partnership.

Anelka-Di Santo and Sturridge-Drogba partnerships would benefit these players well. -
Chelsea 4-4 Aston Villa and Boro 2-1 Chelsea were probably his best games in a Blues shirt.

Excellent news!

Yeah I know, just want to get people's opinion on the other players that could lead this team.

John Terry is one of the greatest captains in Chelsea's history, and Lampard, albeit 2 years older, is the vice-captain. These two players are the last remnants of the pre-Abramovich era, but are central to the team in everything they do. So I was thinking, since they are the only 2 players left before Roman took over, who could be the 3rd captain if Lamps and John weren't available. I have 3 players on my mind: Drogba -- give him the armband and he will think hes considered highly by the management Joe Cole -- one of the veterans of the team, even though hes only 27, can make things happen Cech -- also another veteran, he's very vocal when it comes to his defense. Who do you think could be our third captain if Lamps and John aren't available?

I really think Essien's talents are gonna be wasted in a 4-4-2.
-
It isnt just for adding talent to the squad, the clubs proving that they havent lost their touch when it comes to the big names, capturing Ribery means we can still capture players that the clubs thinks is a 'marquee' name, a name which a shitload of people know of.

I dont see Kaka scoring 100 goals in 5 seasons.

My Tips to be potential stars of the future
Siawash replied to TrueChelseaBlue's topic in Football Chat
Toni Kroos is probably the next biggest thing out of Germany. Riise signed for Fulham, whole bunch of clubs are after Douglas Costa, Kiko Macheda is beyond his years in terms of talent. -
Inter has played 2 matches, not 1. EDIT: For the World Football Challenge of course

Real Mallorca are close to finalising a deal that would see Chelsea youngster Sergio Tejera join the club. The 19-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Mallorca where he represented the club's reserve side. Despite not playing for the first team during his stay in Spain, the Islanders' head coach Gregorio Manzano is said to have been so impressed with the midfielder that he made sure he signed the player permanently this summer. The final details of the transfer are being finalised with the former Spanish Under-18 international set to sign a four-year deal with Chelsea having first option on the player should he move on before 2011. Tejera has not featured for the Blues' first team since he joined from Espanyol three years ago but has played for the youth and reserve sides on a regular basis. "The subject is practically closed and in a few days' time the player will be totally Mallorca's," club sporting director Nando Pons told skysports.com.Real Mallorca are close to finalising a deal that would see Chelsea youngster Sergio Tejera join the club.
