I can understand his frustration. He's been playing top form football last year under Guus and all of a sudden he's no longer a first choice player, Carlo should give him the starting position and let Deco/Ballack be reserves.
Yuri played as LB on CSKA most of the time and he's also LB for Russia. Carlo isn't an idiot, he knows he can play as a midfielder but I think he wanted to give Ashley a rest so decided to put him there instead.
Agreed. Aguero is the perfect player for us in the future, and if we are to buy a young striker this is the time to do it. Drogba and Anelka are already in their 30s, can we really rely on Borini/Sturridge/Kalou to lead this team after they retire?
Cech is world class, it's amazing how he's actually still playing football after he suffered an injury like that. Yes, he's made mistakes for us but what do you suggest we do? Sell him out? I'm sure he'll work out on the little things he's been doing wrong and regain his form back. It's also not fair to judge him right now when the whole team is lacking form.
Malouda is good on the wing compared to deep in the midfield. The thing about flo mo is that he needs consistent playing time to put out consistent performances.
Need Aston Villa and Hull City to do wonders for us tomorrow. I can see Villa beating Arsenal though, this game is essential if we want to be on top form in January w/o the African players.
Malouda pissed me off the entire match, horrible finishing from the whole team, we have to get our mentality straight before United, Arsenal pick up points. From what I'm looking at, if they both win their next 2 games we're screwed.
