JT has been in the media for all the wrong reasons this year and it has clearly effected him on the pitch but he is still a class defender and i think after his recent sending off he will see he needs to step his game up to get chosen for the world cup. Because the way things have been as of late Capello is most likely not impressed with his actions on and off the field.

Like i have said in my previous posts. He is a great talent and someone that would be great for our squad but i dont really think the club should spend 50 millions pounds on a single player. He is young and a class act but if it takes him up to 3 years to adapt the epl we are basically buggered because roman is going to want a instant impact from him. We are trying to break even at the end of the day. If athletico give us a decent deal like swap plus money that i would be all for it but not just 50 mill straight out i think its a bit over the top.

Great news, he will bring such a boost to the squad. Also having ash and ivan back as well. Perfect timing lets just hope they are fit enough to last at least 60 minutes.
