I think I'm starting to understand how his tortured mind works so I will try to explain his logic ..He believes Drogba would attain legendary status only if he won the champions league with us .. that hope has been destroyed by John Terry .What isn't clear to me is if he is referring to our recent defeat or Terry's penalty miss in Moscow .In this case some might suggest that Drogbas ridiculous act causing his sending off in that game was more culpable. Had Drogba been able to take that final penalty ,then he surely would have endowed legendary status on the entire team.

I played professional rugby league ...(long time ago) we were part time pros ..the money was a motivation the basic wage wasnt great and you got paid only ifyou played ...but win bonuses were on a sliding scale ..and did help motivate many ..but my main motivation was a driving desire to WIN and keep WINNING..
