Hey folks.. after a bit of an absence... I'M BAAAAACK!!! I was having trouble posting on here, as IE kept closing the windows in the middle of a post & also wouldn't let me change my sig. But after speaking to Chris on FB messenger, I remembered that my new baby laptop runs on Firefox, not IE and voila, here I am!!!

Seriously, can a player on the bench get a yellow card... what is the rule regarding this?
-
How did the ref manage to book Baros, even though he was on the bench? The game between Czech Republic & Turkey was crazy!!! Especially the last 10-15 mins or so.. I have never watch a game unfold like that! The game against Switzerland was just a formality for Portugal, but I didn't expect them to lose...

Happy birthday CJ... hope you are having a wicked time in Sweden!!!

Jagerbombs all round!!!

Got my new Chelsea home shirt today... with you-know-who on the back, as always... Loyal to the Blues, win or lose...
-
Getting mine tomorrow with lampard on the back, as always.

Drogba was a complete twat for getting himself sent off, & he probably knows it... to do it at all was daft. but to question the red card & trudge off like a spoilt child was just stupid.

I get a lot of stick supporting Chelsea & living in Scotland... everyone says I am the wrong colour blue! The truth of the matter is that last night, there appeared to be more bloody Man Utd supporters up here than there are Rangers supporters! I cried every tear with JT last night, they were streaming down my face when he slipped taking that spot-kick... Such a cruel fate for an entire team that had played so hard for the whole game... next year, boys... next year... I am going to console myself with the new Chelsea home shirt tomorrow, with Lampard on the back as my man of the match (as it's payday)... bless him for dedicating his goal to his mum... plus, a bit of retail therapy will heal my pain! Look on the bright side... at least you aren't this plonker... http://www.suntimes.com/sports/964546,CST-...pions22.article

-
Definately... whats the point of having a graphics thread if we can't show them off in our sigs???
-

Starbuck replied to Starbuck's topic in General Chat
I am back... & still in one piece... I SURVIVED THE RUN!!! The weather was perfect & I was very pleased with my time... 6km in about 38 minutes... not bad. There were between 250-300 Santas running, so it was a really good turn out. Here are a few pics from the day, courtesy of Luke's dad... 1. All dressed up, ready to go ... 2. Santa Warm Up ... 3. Santa Triathletes from Aviemore ... 4. Ready for the off ... 5. Triumphant Santa - & Luke ... 6. Me with my medal ... Thanks for all your support & donations, you have all been FAB!!! The sponsorship money doesn't have to be in until the end of January, so I'll leave my sponsorship page up until after New Year for people that still want to donate to this fabulous charity. Thanks again!!! x x x -

Sponsorship is up over £200 now... on the final push for sponsors now, as my run is on Sunday. I didn't run today as I woke up late with a twinge in my back & was trying to get Luke to school on time! I was also still recovering from the solid hour's run I did the other day! According to the organisers, when I picked up my Santa suit today, they told me I am their TOP FUNDRAISER so far! There are prizes for the people who raise the most money overall, so looks like I have a good chance... plus, I haven't hit my boss for any money yet! Please sponsor me if you can... even just a couple of pounds... & don't forget to tick the Gift Aid box! Many thanks for your support & encouragement... it means a great deal to me. x x x -

Sorry... bumping this up... sponsorship is up to £135 now... Knee is still a bit sore, so went swimming with Luke after school, it has loosened up nicely for a run tomorrow. -

I have signed up to do the <you>Highland Santa Six</you> on December 16th, with proceeds going to the WildHearts Foundation, a dynamic Highland based charity helping people to help themselves by giving them a hand up, not a hand out. Charity-wise, on a domestic level, WildHearts helps people, especially children, to adopt healthier, active lifestyles and to become more involved in their community, so it's a great organisation to raise money for. Info on the WildHearts charity & the work they do is here: http://www.wilddayout.com/WildHearts_Foundation.aspx I have started my training runs already & will be working at the gym at work to get my stamina & strength up. Please sponsor me - http://www.wilddayout.com/AnitasSantaSix - thank you in advance!!! x x x
