Lost some Pace! he is almost standing still, 4/5 times he was loose and away on his own against City, and it was like he was running in thick mud Kompany & Nastasic had no trouble catching and dispossessing him every single time, watching old videos will not help at all, just inform him he has loss that edge that got him away from defenders, so Ancelotti, AVB and DiMatteo have failed to restore his confidence, does that not tell you some-thing, sorry your rowing up stream without paddles if you think FSW will restore his confidence, I wish he could, I really do, but he has Shevshenko mark 2 written all over him.

Need to freshen midfield trio, seem little jaded, playing nearly non-stop since beginning of season, it is not like we have not got replacements for them, unlike up-top where we can choose between Torres & Torres, and just tweak the defence a little, my take is. Cech. Cesar - Ivan - Cahill - Cole Luiz - Ramires Moses - Mata - Oscar Torres 1 or 2 - 0
-
Marin? have we such a player with that name? or have we all just had the same dream.Cahill to replace Luiz, and for him to displace Mikel, agree with all you say about Cole, but have a feeling he no longer wishes to play at/in Chelsea/England, what with the disfunction at club, (& all the old guard leaving) the press in England, time for him to enjoy the tranquil environment abroad.

How would he know, can only remember one game at the bridge, we lost that, so probably explains it then.
-
Won 1 - 0 season before last, your avator pic. scored the only goal.
-
You point is?
-
David Bentley! is that Roy's son?
-
That is a valid argument if you are 100% fit in mind & body, Torres is not, he has loss his speed and without that he has lost his confidence, thus even second rate defenders are able to deal with his threat, I am afraid that, "the Torres of old" is just a memory, maybe good enough for Liverfool, no where good enough for a club that challenges for the top trophy's every season.

Drogba is a legend because every important game, ie. cup finals, semi-finals & top table games he was our man on the spot & one who no matter what could be relied on, his final kick/goal for Chelsea won us the Champions League Trophy, before that goal Drogba produced a piece of vintage magic to level the scores & he did it in spectacular style with only 120 seconds remaining in the CL Final, that goal brought us back into the game.
-
Trying to be clever are we, well your be the first Liverfool fan that makes it.
-
Do not let them whined you up, their more to be pitied, than scorned, lease we forget, they have only the "History" channel to watch
-
So what has changed? just one more bullet in his arsenal to fire at Chelsea.
-
Glad to hear it. May be to you, seems there are a majority on here that do not share that view. NO, but people are angry, letting of steam is one way to cleanse that anger Well lets all wait a year, before we state anything, about anything, then everything will be forgotten, then no need for any forums. . Debate changes lots of things, try it you will surprise yourself. So are a lot of things about Chelsea at this moment in time, does not mean we have to ignore them. . No, not madness, foolhardy perhaps, many words spoken in anger, they are not dividing the forum, just stating something different to your views, that my friend is something you will have to live with, or counter it with a different argument, not just say, "close the thread".
-
Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought a forum is where people exchanged views, just because they do not correspound to your outlook/views you want to close this thread, seems a wee bit dictatorial, perhaps other people need to grow up and learn to debate issues correctly.

Growing up at West Ham gives the game away for me, do not think Ashley grew up at WH, do you? maybe Charlton, but again he was Chelsea youth.
-
Have you ever heard/read of them slag Chelsea off? JT was a fan of Utd in his younger days, but grew up at Chelsea, would not think he would ever had, Coley was a die hard Chelsea fan, but prefered WH to begin his career, but soon put that right, Lamps! well surely everyone knows how the hammers fan treated Frank even when he was playing for them, where did "Fat Frankie" come from?

Roman's method's get's a degree of result's agreed, how much better would those results have been, if we had a Manager who could build a dynasty? same, less or more, I know where my money would lie, Jose & Carlo would have won the CL, long before we eventually did, if they had been allowed to build without interference. Why can we not have both? a Owner & Manager building together. Tottenham! what have they won in the last 10 years, chopping and changing, so it does not work for them, Chelsea would have more Trophys under a long serving manager I am convinced of it, Jose set the standard, and the players he coached into a never say die mentality, still show that same desire today, that is what has carried us through these past years, would it not have been better if he was here orchastrating the team? IMHO yes. Managerial changes abroad are changing, Barcelona chop and changed there mangers, then they decide to stick with a manager, now look at them, same with Real Madrid, who decided to stick with a manager, just happen to be a certain Jose Mourinho, now why would they get rid of successful managers? One Question, which club has won the most Trophy's? Utd with a settled manager or Chelsea with a assortment of managers.

Luiz will hold, he will not have licence to roam, he has good distribution which will hopefully used to good effect, agree about Mikel, just feel he will be bench, in light of his future apperance with the FA.
-
Well he has only an initial 6mth contract, so he will not be at the bridge to long.
-
Can not recall him having played it, certain it was not played often, he prefered 4-2-3-1
-
At Valencia & Liverfool he played 4-2-3-1 set up more defensive than what we have been playing, could see Luiz playing along side Ramires, & Moses come in for Oscar.Cech Cesar - Ivan - Cahill - Cole Ramires - Luiz Moses - Mata - Hazard Torres 2 - 1 Chelsea Mata & Torres.
-
Benitez has only lost one of his previous 12 Premier League encounters with Manchester City and is unbeaten in his last 10.
