Yes, but a mangaer is needed in other to do all of this! Also, like I said in the end: "If we fix the staff/players, the results will come quick and we will lose focus to correct the other part. It is way more painful to let the team in a second plan, but if we fix the team and nothing else, I will be writing this same post 10 years from now"

What Manicini has to do with all of this? He wouldnt even get the job in the first place, but if he did he would get sacked just like all the other managers (wait, isnt the fatty still here?)... However, Mourinho is a totally different case. Roman and Jose are like ex-boyfriend/ex-girlfriend, one will only search for the other when they have no one else left. Mourinho has no other option besides England; there are no good teams needing a manager in Germany, Barcelona wont hire him and he wont go to a free-falling Italy. There are some very clear signs showing he wants Ferguson job and by going to ManCity he will totally ruin the chance of doing so, he still has a slight chance by choosing to go with us though. Abramovch has everything but good options; apart from Klopp, Simeone (which I dont like) and Moyes, everyone else is either unavailable or has been already sacked. From the 3 good options, 1 wont definetly come (and why should he?) and 2 dont trigger any interest in RA that would make him give them the time needed. Neither Jose nor Roman will be extremely happy about it, but I think they will do it for lack of better options. Also, if the two go back together, it will probably be in common agreement. Something that will favour both sides. Mourinho will get the power he so desperatly wants and RA will get the trophies and media exposure he also enjoys. They will both give up on some picky aspects so they can thrive once again. I see it being one of the most secured jobs a manager can have, even Moyes would be jealous... Our last 3 managers only serve to prove managers need time and support. Mourinho will simply have more support than anyone I can imagine and if RDM got a warm atmosphere from the fans, Mourinho will easily double that. The fans love him, the media miss him and The FA will love the extra attention it will get (with Bundesliga so close to it). Parting ways with Jose will be more than risky to Roman, it will probably end his aspiration to make Chelsea the biggest club in the world. The rage will be unimaginable. It will need way, way more than a set of 5 bad games for him to get sacked, it would need a season like this (with a 6th place in the league) to get him sacked and with the amount of money he will have that wont ever happen. Jose will have full control of our squad and he is known to buy some star players (which will make Roman happy). It will be honeymoon for the first 3-4 years and after that things will get serious and dangerous. We dont know how long Mourinho will want to stay or how long Roman will be willing to give up on his sayings. Even with that, it wont be an easy "just sack him" or "I will just leave", it will be hard. I dont see it hurting Mourinho's ego if he had another successful spell. I prefer 3-4 great years and another hard time breaking, than what we are getting. With that being said, how is this bad for Jose Mourinho's ego or how will Chelsea sack him again?

From what I learned it is a different (informal) way of saying isnt or arent..LOL, that is what you get for typing while driving at 120km/h! Anyways, I'm back to SP.

Josh is good, but he is not ready by any means and it is very uncertain whether he will become world class or not. I honestly think he will never break into our strating eleven, but basically because we are always buying the best players. I do believe he will be a good option for Chelsea though.

Messi aint better than Pele nor Zidane...
-
I dont think so. I really believe Mourinho would have more security here. He will have 110% of everyone's support and by hiring him RA will be stating he is aware there arent any more options on he market. I trully think he would be like God here, his ego cant ask for much. As far as money and players, nothing that a 150mi transfer window and Mourinho's tactics cant handle, lol.

I am not sure they think at all mate!

I would love to see him on Everton or something for next season...

PSG 1-0 Valencia and Celtic 1-1 Juve...

Well, then I will thank him for shaving his beard. No seriously, he is a great mod!

Jim, I have changed my avatar but my old one still appears on the "recent active members". I changed it mainly because I cant look at this traitor anymore!

It is a very interesting debate (I know I am not British and have nothing to do with it though). Moved it here for lack of a better thread... I honestly think the problem with England is the fact you do things all too professional and serious. I feel the problem with English players is the lack of skills and creativity (by that I mean dribling, flair, etc) South Americans show and that is something you dont teach, you let it flourish while the player is very young... In England, people with 13-14 yo are already having tactical training and are competing in 11v11 matches. I think this fucks with their development because they are treated as professionals but they are far from being one. For me, this reflect into a lack of freedom that will cage their ability and hapiness in the long run. In my opinion, coaches should just let the kids play like they were playing in the streets (no rules and no position). In SA, young people dont have much training sessions, they dont even have positions. Managers usually divide them into teams of 7 (or even 9) and there is no set of roles, sometimes you are defending and others you are attacking, etc. What managers and scout want from this is to see where the player naturally tries to go (CB, LB, CM, ST, etc) and how good he is with the ball on his foot. Brazilians and Argentines usually only start learning how to play in pre-determined positions and about tactics with 15-16, but with that age all their other aspects of the game have already been developed. Ultimately, I think the answer for England is to back it off a litle bit. Dont try to do too much , just let things naturally happen. Of course the transition from Youth to Pro is a huge issue, but I feel the immense seriousness is a bigger one!

ESPN BR will only show PSG and Valencia,, but thanks that tomorrow they will show RM vs Manure!

I know, but it is not directed to Lukaku, it is directed at people who must stop with this overreactions. It is hilarious, just look on Oscar thread before and after Wembley! It really has nothing to do with Romelu, but it is boring to read complete one sided posts everytime something different happens. I dont think one or two games are enough to change someone's opinion from top to bottom and then change it again! Yeah, but there are...
-
I see where you are coming from, but I disagree. It is one thing to say "oh I thought he had bad passing skills, but now I see he has improved or I was the one who didnt see it", but it is plain stupid to post huge praise one week and huge criticism the other and then huge praise again, etc.
-
Nope, it is one thing to change your opinion based on facts you have experienced and learned and another to go back and forth only to follow the trend and increase your reputation. Lukaku will have a run of poor formm (which everyone has and it is normal) and the exact same people will start jumping off his bandweagon again!
-
I really thought it was just some random rumors, how true is that 35 + Courtois deal? If it is, just forget about it!
-
But I am! Lets not derail it though...

LOOOOOOOLGo back 5-6 pages to see the same people saying he is shit and he has zero first touch. Now read the same people posting his first touch gives them orgasm. The same with Falcao's thread; people wanting us to pay bullocks to him now thinking he will be a flop because of two bad games! This is ridiculous, you cant completely change your point of view because of one game. I dont care if one believes they are amazing or crap, but dont go posting complete different shit each game they play just to follow the trend and get likes... Where have I said I want to spend 50mi? I am analysing the facts and trying to live in reality! Lukaku wont be used ahead of Torres (if he is not sold) or ahead of a big time striker (that has a huge chance of coming). I am not naive neither stupid to stand here and pretend we will have a team with Lukaku and Ba as strikers. It is not about whether I believe they are good enough or not, it is about me knowing that Roman wont settle with only the two of them... I dont want Lukaku to be another Sturridge and you are all risking doing that only because you cant have a bit of patience!
