CONGRATS SPIKE! Really well deserved, had already voted for you last time. The tags are really cool, but you will find that seeing yourself in the home page is quite pleasant!

Again, if Isco comes to Chels for such a small role, he will be as criticized as Oscar. He will need a good time to adapt (language, style, city, food, etc) and has the same problem of being unconfortable in tight and physical situations (although he is a better dribler and close range shooter). If Isco comes, I want Marin out. We must not buy great players just to prevent them from going elsewhere...

This is not FIFA, the players wont be lying around on the bench waiting for their time just because the team will have a great depth! Things just dont work, the chemestry falls apart and there will always be players moaning about their playing time. Also, no team can have immense depth in all areas of the field, if you have 4 big players for one spot, somewhere else on the pitch will lack quality. Barcelona has Sanchez, Iniesta, Pedro, Tello, Villa and Thiago for 2 positions (no wonder Villa is unhappy) and no CBs. ManCity has Aguero, Dzeko, Tevez and Balotelli for striker and no proper winger and defender (besides Kompany). Real Madrid has immense offensive depth (the best of any other team) and no RB (not even one). So....Leif, decide! Do you prefer to have Mata, Hazard, Moses, Oscar, Piazon and Marin for 3 positions and add quality on ST, CM, CB, LB? - OR - Do you prefer to buy Isco and Schurrle and keep Ba as the only Striker and Terry and Iva as our only trully great centerbacks?

I love you all, please. Being serious now, I can't imagine how sad people will be when he retires or go away.

You kind of just walked into my argument... I started by saying we can not play the "it is alright" game. I cleared posted we must reflect on what we should improve. Then, I received a post saying we should not read to much on them, it came down to Mata, GK and luck (it is all fine). By posting that we need depth and better finishers, you totally made my point.

Why would you knock on your boss' door and shout you accept a 50% pay-cut? Lampard is playing quite, he is just waiting what comes to table. If it is a simple 150k extension, then awesome. However, I bet he would accept a 80k offer just to stay at the club. Well, I dont know him nor Roman, so this is just me assuming things...

Amazing player, but we don't need him. I am seriously worried we will fuck things up, buying more players than the neccessary (for the same attacking positions and forget about the defense and pivot) and too young...

Sorry, this is just a losers mentality. When things don't go our way we have to sit and try to improve. It doesnt work like: "oh bad luck, lets wait next year". I am not making a fuss about those wins, I said that we can't only view it as a bad day at the office and everything is fine. We have to find ways to improve and, reflecting on our losses is by far the best way to start. It is not wonderland...

What made you think I wanted yours?
-
Yes, I do. 1. The team is supposed to overcome the difficulties and win, even if a player from the oppostion gets MOTM. That is what great teams do, they win no matter what. This is stupid, you should not get a pass and overlook the clear mistakes just because the game is pointless or the keeper had a fucking brilliant day. I think it was not Bayern's fault to lose UCL because Cech had the game of his life, they should all just be happy because there was nothing they could do... 2. Arguying we lost to QPR because Mata wasnt at his best is the worst excuse ever. No Mata, no win? Worse than that, you arent bothered by it. We are Champions or Europe, not some Loserpool who depends solely on Suarez... We have to analyse our problems so we can fix it, we are not horrible, but not great either (yet). If some start to find a stupid reason for any match we lose, things will never get better. So glad you arent a member of the coaching staff. You aren't, right?
-
LOL At the end of the season I will have to hear how many excuses for how many different games? When we play well, benitez and the boys are fucking amazing, when we lose it was just some occasional fucking shit... "X bad days at the office". Hillarious!
-
Super Frankie Lampard is the penalty taker, end of story!
-
A bad day in the office cost Barcelona and Bayern Munich last year UCL, just saying... I agree that we have been pretty good in the attack and the fact we always allow the first goal should be taken care. However, I view the QPR and Corinthians game as more than just a bad day in the office. We have a fucking terrible difficulty in winning those "routine games", I still dont know if we became a girly team or we are just really depended on some key players. All I am saying is that there is more than a bad loss. Something is wrong!
