What I had to say I already did, I was completely honest about what I thought and I there is nothing else to be said. I hope you understood where I came from, because I wasn't just to taking the piss... I am not going to kick a dead body, but what are you trying to do to change that? Words are pretty, but we must really try hard to change ourselves! Moving will only be a fresh start if you make it, everything is all in your head, the new place wont bring you magical things by itself. Without knowing anything about you, I would move. Scotland has nothign you like, so get out of there. It is not easy to know what we want and how we will get them, but it is pretty easy to know what we dont want. From what you said, it cant get much worse and you also have nothing holding you back, so go for it. I will probably be in Woking 2 years from now, I have been searching places in Surrey and there are some pretty good places to live (close to train, a bit of nature, decent infra-structure, etc). I know nothing about Kent though (ask Hutcho or Liquidator, they are incredible people, i am sure they will help)... Stop thinking you are weird, this only brings you down! Everybody has their weird side that needs to come out from time to time so you can have some fun. Look at me and Sting, we post some fucked up stuff (his gayer then mine, lol), but that doesnt mean we have problems or no one will accept us as their friends. Keep your head up, you must be the first one to like yourself. There is no perfect human being, embrace that and dont be afraid, scared or even ashamed of who you are!

Alright, with the possibility of Mourinho coming back, how low do you think it will get?
-
Asshole, I will send all your complaints to your professor and make him repeat you!

@Leif, I obviously didnt read it yet, but you want to apologize by bolding words? I will reply, I am just a bit busy atm, wait...

@Stingray, LOOOOOOOOL. I just saw your signature! I haven't seen her since Saturday. I think I will pay her a visit tomorrow...

To lighten up the mood after a painful equalizer by Suarez, lets talk about something positive! In late 2005, Chelsea signed a 5 year deal to change from Umbro to Adidas. The deal was worth 60 million pounds, making it a 12 million per season contract. The first kit introduced in 06/07, came to rap up the last of the big changes in our shirts. After the new Chelsea Centenary Crest and the Samsung partneship, the famous Adidas stripes came to Stamford Bridge. Following the immense success of José Mourinho's team and the quality and originality of the marketing campaigns, the sales were better than expected. In 2007/08, only the second year of Adidas, Chelsea had already reached 750 thousand shirts sales worldwide during one season. The year after that, it reached the 800 thousand mark. With the continue growth of Chelsea's popularity and after the club's very first Double under Carlo Ancelotti, both parties came up with a stunning multi million pound 8-year in Octoer 2010. The deal, currently in vigor, is rumored to be worth 20 million/season or 160 million in total. At the time, it was the second best kit deal in the country (losing to Nike's 300mi/13year deal with Manchester Utd). The aggressiveness didn't stop, it actually got bigger. The marketing campaign was now reaching long forgotten economies such as South America and Africa. It is possible to see posters and even online commercials of Chelsea and Adidas in some countries of both continents. The club and its brand has truly achieved worldwide status. Most recently, big time transfers such as Torres and the victory in the UCL Final 2012 helped Chelsea and Adidas reach another impressive mark. In 2011/12, they were the fifth club to sell over 900 thousand shirts in a season. More precisely 910 thousand, only behind Manchester Utd, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich (in that particular order). Some kits better than others, but almost all of them were home runs and not one caused immense disappointment with the fans. These 7-8 years of partnership between Chelsea and Adidas can very well be called a success. Maybe to many traditional fans, the Umbro kits were more appealing, but no one can deny the quality of the current kits. Enough with the past though, what about the future? While numbers from the current season are still to be summed up, the question remains on how well we are actually doing and what numbers will be achieve. Can it really reach 1 million? With the wild success in countries such as Belgium, Brazil, Japan and USA and with the transfers of charismatic figures such as Hazard, Oscar and Demba Ba; it is very much possible to beat the 1 million mark, but difficult. The fact this year's kit looks outstanding surely helps, but still. The increase must be of roughly 90 thousand shirts (or 10%), which makes things hard in today's global economy. It won't be a surprise if Chelsea reports sales of over 1 million. However, it looks like next season will be more of a certainty... The new Adidas advertise campaign made quite an impact, both among the fans and the media. Papers around the world posted photos and articles about our players drowned and covered in blue paint. Because it is blue, what else matters? Despite the usual fan hype, how well can it really do? Well, it can only increase even more! They were able to create a very interesting and simple message that fans will relate to and neutrals will enjoy. On top of that, the kit does look amazing. It is simple, yet elegant. They did not messed with the shade of blue and they came back with the white details. It seems to be already an success, even more when you look at leaks of possible other EPL teams. The squad is full of young talented players who can grow to become future stars and the possibility of maybe the greatest manager of the modern era coming back will push thousands and thousands of sales. Add to that growing markets such as USA, Brazil and South Africa (where Chelsea has a great presence) and it all seems a no brainer. CHELSEA WILL REACH 1 MILLION! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the end, what matters is that we are growing everyday into becoming the 4th or 5th biggest club in the world. Our place amongst the best is consolidated. We are no longer a small London club, we are the London club. We have grown into something incredibly big. We have revenues that rival with the biggest teams in German, Italy or England. The shirt sales are only one small symbolic figure to show how well we have been doing in the marketing department.

No. Try putting the text on Google, it tells most of what it is on the 20min video...

I think he will be even better with Mourinho. (if he comes) I remember Lucio, joining the attack way to often and sometimes positioning himself very badly, but when Jose came to Inter, he became the best defender in the world during those 2 years. I honestly believe he will be really good under a manager like Mourinho. It is impressive how some managers can make their players obey and follow their orders.

Has anybody seen the "documentary" Globo Esporte did about him? Amazing character, what he had to go through isn't for everybody. WOW! Brilliant player and even a better person, just got to focus a bit more! http://globoesporte.globo.com/programas/esporte-espetacular/noticia/2013/04/origens-aposta-do-brasil-david-luiz-quase-defendeu-selecao-de-portugal.html#atleta-david-luiz

If you look at their size, you will see basically the same thing, but both are stronger than Oscar, specially Moutinho. Anyways, totally not the point here. Agreed to disagree... I do have faith, but I dont go that deep. I honestly cant see us finishing first with only Schurrle and Loanees, as much as I want to. I think we need a Striker and a DLP, at least. (only talking about next season) If we want to really fight for every trophy, we need 3 or 4 players. Cavani/Falcao/Lewandowski, Schurrle, Moutinho at the minimum. And a new CB if we want to really spend a lot of money... Again not the point of this thread, so we will end it here! -
@, you still listen to that shit?

He falls too much, in my opinion. He also rarely gets a foul most of the times... Yes he is intelligent, but I don't believe he has the right physical condition to play on the pivot! Until now, he is only a promise, be careful not to make him world class before time... Many players come and go, you cant go into a season in the hopes of him living up to the hype. We did this with Torres (believing he would come back) and look what happened and how many times we cried for a striker. Obviously that it would be amazing if he does win the starting job and perform like a top player. I just see a big risk in letting a young player with no experience be our only option for the DM (don't start me with Mikel, I had enough of him already). Like I said, this team is great, just not enough to be English Champions! If we rely on rotation, it will happen just like with Benitez, we will lose important points along the way... Wow, you honestly think that by only buying Schurrle and recalling our Loanees, we can win EPL? You actually think we can make 80+ points with that team?? I think this squad can comfortably make top3, but not win it all... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To stay on topic, I dont get the drama queens around here making us look like Liverpool or Arsenal if we don't qualify. We have been through this already and I have stated all my concerns over not making to UCL... However, it is not because of one bad season in over a decade that Roman will leave or Chelsea will lose all their players. This is fucking laughable! We are still in the driving seat if anyone hasn't noticed. I posted this in the English Football Thread and will post this again, if we had drew in different circumstances, everyone would be celebrating. How many of you did your simulations and added three points in Anfield? -
I TAKE IT BACK, PLEAAAASSSE!

Can you please learn how to quote? Geeez. Oscar needs to work on his body, he is still weak for European football and that is clear when he tries to work his possession in thight spaces. He often loses the ball and fall to the ground... Chalobah must be given the chance, not the starting role in his very first season with a CFC shirt. You went from wanting to start him from giving him a chance, that shows a lot already. You believe in Terry, Cole and Lukaku in the starting role to give us real title chances? It is not about beating them, it is about making more points. You already start a season knowing Manure will make at least 80 points and City will be close by... You honestly believe this team can make 80+ points? -

For instance, Chalobah and Oscar aren't ready to be our leading pivot for 40+ games a season and nor is Lukaku for the senior striker role. The first has absolutely no experience in the EPL (werent you the one wanting Modric ahead of Moutinho because he is proven in UK?), the second has to immensily improve his body to play in a position he has never played before and the third isn't even a starter for Wigan. Also, we have no idea how good Schurrle is going to be. He might become a huge flop or have an average first season like Oscar and not contribute as much as we need him to. That is because I am ignoring the fact Terry and Cole aren't the same... The team you suggested is better than Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal (specially because of the bench options), but not better than the two Manchester teams. Meaning we wont be fighting for the title... -

This team is not good enough by any means, half of the players in this lineup arent even ready! If we go to a season with this squad, we will be title contenders just as we were in the beginning of the season with RDM... -
Of course you are weird, who suggested my tag? Embrace the weirdness Tom, embrace the weirdness!
