  1. If you look at the data, 50% is not even fair enough. It's something like 90% of brazilian students are in public schools in high school, but then you take a look at our public universities and only 10% came from public schools. It was to be expected the number to be close to 90%, let's say, 70% at least. There's no such a difference in intelligence between private students and public students to make it go from 90-10 to 10-90. I say 50% would be nice because we can't forget meritocracy all together.
  2. Except that number 2 would be even harder than what he/we already has/have.
  3. Gladly there was no one recording it. HAHAHA. It was very similar to the goal Oscar missed in one of Brazil's NT game. The one there's a low cross and Oscar hits the upper post. This:
  4. SUPER tired for having played football/soccer all night long. And a bit sad because I lost an easy goal that cost my team our last match. Damn, even Torres would have scored that.
  5. My life has been pretty crazy so far. Not that I'm complaining. I'm going to uni now, till later.
  6. No, in Brasília. I've moved a lot, you'd be surprised if you knew the many cities I've lived in, hahaha.
  7. "Qual o seu nome?" feels less robotic and less portuguese from Portugal
  8. I didn't meant to imply you said it was bad. Just that he might like it anyways. I don't like to go to the beach very much, but drinking at the beach is awesome! Hahaha. And there are other things to do and places to go.
  9. Well, I think Romper explained it all. I disagree on his opinion about northeast, though. I mean, I don't like living here very much, but foreigners seem to like everything here when they come. At least Pipa, Porto de Galinhas and other famous beaches they all love. Besides, it is usually substantially cheaper than São Paulo, Rio (Brazil's biggest cities) and Brasília (where politicians burn our money). However, it won't be cheaper than staying at Rmpr's apartment. I'd offer my place for you to stay, but truth is I don't even know if I'll be here by then. I'll probably move as soon as I finish uni.
  10. I always find myself reading that forum. And they have tons of theories going on there, it's really crazy.
  11. That's São Paulo. It is way harder to find in almost every other city. Even in big cities like Porto Alegre or Recife, besides the fact they're expensive as hell.
  12. I don't (know). We're american suckers here, we don't get to see british series on tv. I've seen more british series in the last months (online) than I have in all my life.
  13. People drink mostly our national beers: Brahma, Skol, Antarctica, Crystal, Kaiser, Skin, Bohemia, Bavaria and a few others, or Stella Artois/Heineken. All of them pilsen. In general, if you wanna drink some other beer you'll have to find some place where they produce their own beer.
  14. Brazilians drink mostly 'pilsner'. I think we say 'pilsen' here. It's not so easy to find any other types of beer. Awful.
  15. I thought you were referring to number of soldiers we sent to war. My bad.
  16. It says 25,000. And all these world wars had little to do with Brazil. I think England-Australia relationship led to a higher interest in the outcome for you guys. But Brazil not so much, I think we couldn't care less.
  17. We've got Stella Artois in Brazil. I guess that's the only belgian beer I've ever tasted. P.S: It's one of the best beers you can find in brazilian lands.
  18. So I guess we won it too: http://www.jaymemonjardim.com.br/_english/aquarela/guerra/conteudo.htm
  19. As much as I love chocolate, it can't compete with brazilian wax and especially what comes after that On a side note, can't wait to taste some belgian chocolate and see how it compares to the rest.
  20. I didn't even read that shit but if we top it, that must be right.
  21. Just found this: http://travel.cnn.com/explorations/life/12-coolest-nationalities-earth-050844?page=0%2C1 YEAH, SUCK THAT SPIKE SPIEGEL AND STINGRAY
  22. I'll talk to you when the time comes closer. What about the question I asked? What can I say when joking to piss off a belgian? Are there any rivalries with other countries in any regard?
  23. I'm hoping things get better for you mate. Good luck.
