Theres a problem with Refs. It has to be one of the worst jobs in the World, as whatever you do you're generally hated. To be a Prem ref you have to work your way up from Sunday league, Semi Professional etc (gobbed on, abused and threatened on the way) and then your in charge of these spoilt wankers on £150 000 a week.
