  1. It was coming - need to show them who are World Champions now
  2. Italian mob look pretty lively, might be a case of we'll have to score more than them
  3. We always start in first gear, sometimes neutral
  4. 1-4 so bad they almost make Utd look good
  5. Complete underestimation of the Leeds v Chelsea dynamic, previous encounters at Elland Road, thinking they would roll over, their crowd and atmosphere, the rivalry since the 70s - resulting in a weakened team selection, and a general arrogance that it was a done deal Learn from it for next season
  6. Good performance yesterday - kept us in it
  7. ''Staged just a mile from the White House, Friday's World Cup draw will have a distinctly political feel. The glittering ceremony will take place at the Kennedy Center, the famous Washington arts venue now chaired by US President Donald Trump after he overhauled its board this year. Proceedings seem to have been planned with the US president very much in mind. Seventies group Village People have been booked to play YMCA, a Trump favourite that is regularly heard at his campaign rallies. And, in a break with tradition, the draw ceremony will feature the awarding of a new Fifa Peace Prize, with Trump widely expected to be the recipient. Such gestures will only underline the alliance forged between the US president and Fifa counterpart Gianni Infantino, who announced the award last month after claiming that Trump deserved to win the Nobel Peace Prize for his contribution to the Israel-Gaza ceasefire, and enthusiastically praising his policies. Such moves are a threat to Fifa's commitment to political neutrality, one enshrined in its statutes, and risk turning the draw - and the tournament itself - into propaganda tools. They believe Infantino and Trump are effectively too close for comfort, and that it sends a message that world football's governing body is aligning with the Make America Great Again (Maga) movement, and endorsing what many feel is a divisive administration. Is it wise, they ask, that Fifa is seen to associate so closely with a man who only this week made disparaging comments about Somalis, describing them as "garbage"?
  8. Hopefully lessons have been learned from the Leeds shitshow. Don’t start a game slowly. You’re playing for a top club, get the game moving, get the ball moving quickly, get your tempo and your passing, get your touch right. Get on the front foot and move the ball quickly. Dont do this and watch the oppos confidence grow. Doesnt take a PL manager to know this
  9. One of those Northern hell holes. Elland Road now stands at just 6 wins in 49 league visits
  10. They wanted it so much more. Look at their fans like a CL Final. We looked entitled, lazy, the Barca slayers. Fat on ego, thin on desire
  11. Complete clusterfuck of inadequacies. No 1 Underestimating the opposition. Criminal
  12. Put the fucking effort in and we can win this
  13. Delap might look a bit like him , but he aint no Kerry Dixon
  14. Pedestrian pace, underestimated the opposition and what this means to Leeds, tactically unprepared. On the positive 45 mins to get our fucking act together
  15. Brighton beating villa we need to beat leeds now
