This is pretty much where I stand... well, maybe "LIKE" Kalou is more appropriate. You just have to know what your going to get out of him. As has been said, the work rate is off the charts and along with some goals, you get a ball put over the bar from inches away every now and then. As far as not being "Chelsea quality", well I have players that are much higher up that list than Kalou is as well.

REALLY like the new kit, will absolutely be getting one. I haven't been a fan of the last 2 seasons kits, this one is definitely a step up.

I'm usually of the mind that playing Anelka on the road lends itself well to the way Chelsea play on the road, and the same for Drogba at home. But yesterday proved to me that while he's with the club, Drogba needs to be on the pitch. He demands so much attention/respect from the opposition that it allows everyone else to open up and the attack overall is a lot stronger. Of course I'd be interested in a Anelka/Drogba pairing but Scolari seems as though he'd rather die than play a 4-4-2.

Just finished watching it... good lord Boro are terrible. Happy for the three points and Chelsea did look a lot better in the second half but that first half was horrible. In spells they reminded me of Arsenal in that all they wanted to do when they had possession just outside the box was pass it around, instead of someone sacking up and taking a shot. Not a bad half by Chelsea, but a perfect example of what exactly is going wrong at the moment. As the commentator said, absolutely no plan 'B'. Overall, Drogba made the difference. Once Drogba came on things opened up. Anelka had a brilliant second half, and the team overall did play well. Middlesbrough are shit, and all I can say is I hope they go down because I saw NOTHING redeeming about them at all. Bring on the SCOUSERS!

Chelsea will win -- 3-1, Boro will of course score on a set piece.
