One piece of additional input: Hazard also as a lot in the tank I presume, seeing how many games he played last year. I'm sorry, but this is some serious bs. We do have world class players behind him I think, Oscar and Hazard are not just good. Not established values yet,I agree, but there aren't that much of those around are there (messi and ronaldo are simply out of this world category). Problem remains that Torres doesn't perform in the way you can expect a player like him to perform. Fact.

Well, I get that it is important that a striker gets time and opportunities ... Lukaku never got that however - just look at the comments on here he got 'at 18' (first touch and all, not what we , while having almost no playing chances - undermining confidence in the process). The only reason I see for not giving up on Torres after two years is Torres' price. This is truly a psychological bias I am afraid. We invested so heavily, so he has to pay off kind of thinking. Just think about all the other talent - Sturridge, Piazon - (and results) we might miss by just wanting it (Torres wonderman!) to be true. Alas, sometimes something is not what it is is, just because you want it too really badly.
