  1. I genuinely feel worried about this. Except if our last 'debacle' imprinted the notion of 'overconfidence is letal' into the minds of the players - then we will pull through I guess. It's about mentality this one.
  2. because he has such a nice fro? You don't see that fro- quality a lot these days :-) Can you just imagine the wig-sale augmentation? On a serious not: even in a possesion based team we could use a powerhouse like him - this is EPL not la liga. But then again: he is less quality in build up and tends to be sloppy tactically/positionally. So I will postpone a definite verdict on him. It could go both ways like I sais: good or really bad.
  3. If anything, he will have an impact - good or bad - on our team. He is a lot of things, but 'neutral' doesn't seem to apply. My worry more than the passing and the creativity lies in him not tracking back sometimes when the team looses the ball. He often seems to stroll around in the Belgian National team when we go into defence or even when he himself loses the ball. annoyed the fuck out of me when watching the national team. On the other hand - any time he is on the pitch - you seem to feel his presence. subjective as hell of course. Anyways: I'd love him here for the warrior that he is. With our lightweight trio (or quattro if you count Marin) we can use a beast. I see him fitting in here. I used to watch a lot of Standard Liege matches and he will do just fine as a midfielder in a pivot. No worries there. Tactical discipline, however, to go to the next level as a DM/CM.... ouch. ps: all the positive stuff is generated by a genuinely Belgian Bias :-)
  4. Torres to start and fail to score, Ba to come on with 30 minutes left and score multiple times, leaving Torres tied to the bench the next couple of matches :-) Much better :-)
  5. Exactly. You refined your initial statements, and I thank you for it. Please do not forget we are not psychics that can mindread. Apparently there were a lot of hidden assumptions underlying your argument. Now I heard them, I can even relte to them. But without the context you just gave, it sounded to harsh. Ps: this has nothing to do with not criticizing Hazard = getting attacked @corner or @Choulo19. If you raise an argument and you feel it is valid but others do not get it (even though it is merely due to lack of context or not knowing the assumptions underlying the argument - which is the responsability of whoever puts forth the initial argument), you can except a debate. Nobody trashed you or anything - at least not in my view. However: if you can criticize and others can't respond .... well, thats like playing tennis with the net down for your serve and the net back up for the return. It's also a little intellectually unfair. Debate is a debate. All sides/arguments can and must have their say. That said, now you explained I can relate to your argument. Still ... regarding the argument : I think besides 1 and 2, he also does 3 and 4, though you apparently don't see this from him (so your argument is more than just about defending, not?). The defending part I agree on. He sucks on that. Sorry for the off topic, Moses :-) Hope that clarifies why I found it harsh, Seb.
  6. Cause i am getting old : This is Sophie's Choice. But, Lampard deserved it :-) Plus: I wanted Ba to be all I dreamt of - till now he was so good ! Ps: Lampard is a Legend at 35. However, we will have to let him go sometimes. Him being a Legend I would love it if he had a smashing end, not a contract struggle .... Ps2: Torres should fuck off (just because i promised to extravertly say this from now on in every post following an appearance of the Flaxen Butt Plug Scorer). Cheers
  7. Very very harsh on Hazard. Undeserved and unnuanced in my opinion. Also, Moses can't offer more than Hazard at the same age. Hazard is younger, dude!! plus: They are two different players whom I both rate high. You seem to forget Hazard is younger, new to the league, is also giving a lot to the team. Your statement that Hazard offers very little is bollocks. Stats are here to support this (besides having sound judgement by just watching games).
  8. No more backstreet boy leading the line! Rock it Ba!!!
  9. Horny fuckers here I see ..... Much better then CFC forum :-) ps: me gusta!
  10. Yeah, Lebanese women are gorgeous. No joke. Gorgeous!! Do they all have those killer eyes .... ? Lucky, lucky Choulo ....
  11. Fuck. We should end his loan ... Our midfield could use him.
  12. Torres. You are done. You are exposed. Please just leave.
  13. Also. I don't know ifthese stats are worrying or reassuring ....
  14. Or just use the one we already have: KDB. He is so underrated on here. For me and other belgians that have seen him play he is a Hazard-calibre player. Also, the way he instantly adapted to the Bundesliga AND carries the team there right now, suggest he is already up for Chelsea - very mature. His passing, vision and speed of execution is what we need now. Ps: fuck Torres
  15. I'd get Lukaku and KDB back now actually. ST and CM are what we need, we actually have the players already and they are playing well (KDB is a boss right now)... Especially KDB would improve the team is my feeling. Add Ba AND Lukaku into the mix and fucking bench Torres for the rest of his contract. Useless ass. Disgrace to wear that blue shirt!! Edit: don't bench Torres. -21 him instead.
  16. No problem, Henrique. Soon Courtois and KDB and we belgians might post in 4!! threads. wouldn't that be a bitch for you. Don't deny the fact Wecker has a point. though. Go drink a Duvel. We know you like em :-) Ps on topic: Torres is so much more a problem-even in todays game. Hazard isn't actually. He is just young, doing good and being inconistent-much as Oscar. This game he just wasn't in. So what? Focus a lil maybe?
  17. Ah, I am not too fond of Ramires on the wing... Well, Lampard/Luiz en Mata/Hazard should be able to produce enough danger. Let's hope Torres had a good night yesterday. I'd hate to play Everton with 10 today ....
  18. Very very nervous actually .... could be sooo good for us but also throw us back in the table. So yeah
  19. As in Hazard, Hazarder, Hazardest? :-) On topic: challenging game. I wonder how the boys will take it. I can see us beat any team if the mindset is right. Also and alas, the reverse is true ... Especially this being Everton and away.
  20. I agree with Kojo. He doesn't need a loan anymore. He is ready now.
  21. Yeaaah well, In the same article he talks about learning English. He says it is getting better with the understanding and all, but the talking is still hard. His wife is learning as well it seems. Their kid seems to pick on it much easier. So I think he tries but truly, truly, and very truly sucks at languages :-) I think he knows edit: my edit itself is an example :-)
