I don't think so .... There are a lot of foreign students here. Ghent is a beautiful medieval town (it fucking equals Bruges any time) with more students than inhabitants. We also have special programs for foreign students taking care of housing an stuff like that. You will get around just fine with English here. Literally everybody speaks it here. Do you want to go for a Phd abroad or finish your masters? Because thats different; Visa-wise Belgium is a WHOLE lot different than Britain, australia, the US or Canada. Different = easy. We are a transit country here and the center of Europe. I never heard of not being able to get a visa. Heck ... everybody gets in even without a VISA lmao If you ever want me to make inquiries?
