This ABSOLUTELY true. Our standard is way to high for Eden in the National team. We want him to just fuck every defense every time he is on the pitch. If he would have missed a couple of passes like KDB did yesterday against Romania, he would be burned for it - where KDB (rightfully so) wasn't! We seem - sometimes also on this forum - to expect perfection from this young boy. If anything, I thought we missed his spark yesterday during the interland. More so, our other players got a LOT less room/space when he is not on the pitch. He is a magnet for defenders and creates so much room for others - even when playing on a sub-Messi standard :-) In Chelsea, I just love him being here!

Well after Romania-Belgium, I think he had a lot of really good moments, but seemed a little inconsistent when passing (brilliant passes and than the odd horrible pass/loss of the ball). Also, he looked tired the last 20'. He will need to work on that aspect of his game (consistency) because thats what I read on the Bremen forum as well (a lot of talent/brilliance but also people complaining a bit about a relatively - in the sense that he is very present on the pitch - high percentage of 'fehlpässe' - bad passes). The typical young player errors it seems He's a gem for sure, just needs a lil polishing :-) brush brush!

Well, Lukaku was a bit of an enigma last night during Romania-Belgium. He came on during the second half as a sub for Benteke. I really thought his link up play and first touch looked much better. Also, you do really feel the boy weighs on a defense, almost solely due to his physical presence. He does create chances. This not withstanding he missed two incredible chances when through on goal alone. Unbelievable, but I believe he is 'growing' again as a striker.

I would love that. I truly think Witsel is an amazing talent ... he just ALWAYS delivers, is tireless, has an incredible workrate, good passing and technique. Sigh .... i would love that :-)

First one on Hazard, second one lukaku owned the Russian defence. Peeps, Lukaku has a bad first touch but hes 18 at the time he did this.

I agree with him, Land. Sorry, but it looks from the appearance like you have a little bias here (along with a forgiving mentality for Oscar - which I share because of his young years, as is the case with Hazard).

I think it is one thing to say Bertrand is still young but full of talent which I fully support. Also, It is true eg. Lamps bettered with age and was not the world player he would become later on. What I do regret is the pointing finger on Hazard for not tracking back perfectly all the time. You know what ... He is 21 and also a very young player. He will learn, so will Oscar and those two (three - enter Mata ) combined will aid greatly to make Chelsea by far the best team in the EPL ... Good times ahead, that is for sure!!!

Ok. I just wanted to say sorry for criticizing Bertrand during the last match. Saw the game again and mistook Ramires for him two times. So, i was way to quick to judge. The boy had a good game and it was my bad. So, choulo and others. Pls accept my apologies. It was a couple of comments on the heat of the moment. Ps: still think Torres isn't a striker fo us though lol.
