Due to the drama the ineptness of Rafa and our incredible shambolic defending + Torres on for so long (if rotation was policy - why no Ba on for today, hey?) - we do NOT see the shortcomings in our own club. this is also the illusion of this season. So Kafka. So very much Franz Kafka.

Nooooo ! Of course - in hindsight - a pass to Luiz looks better. But the root cause is really the lack of marking and pressure, also from the pivot. There will always be long hoofs and bad attempts - but the issue is the defensive responsibilities. they are basic and are NOT fulfilled. We have 'hubris' as a red line through our season after winning the CL. The other teams keep playing, so should we. Ps: An illogical asshole like Rafa doesn't help.

I believe we can, Mathematically and also a very much less emotionally inspired look can tell you YES :-) I do think we lack a manager and a striker that takes care of games (Rafa - you should have put Ba on today - your rotation politics are a double standard when Torres is concerned). Also, The pivot isn't what it supposed to be and our defense shares in the lack of confidence and motivation. What else could we expect from a manager that fails to motivate and instill a little fire into our men. Disregarding the debate if the 'en are not to blame', our manager was never going to be our leader. What a crucial mistake to make in our 'transition' team. How could we not think a team in this kind of change does not need a true 'skipper'. Pure, pure idiocy; Luckily, there is enough to our Amigos to to what we do this season. We are still up there and competing for the CL. It is our transition season and it shows - not thanks to Rafa though! Fingers Crossed!

True. That he did well. Defensive wise .... I don't know. His marking was loose today. The 'Rodent Biter Scouse' took advantage. Iva is a bear, but it has not been his season.

Most important: how overconfident - even arrogant - can you get as a manager. Besides my feelings for Rafa, this was really, really bad coaching. We absolutely fell apart in the second half. Luckely we had a penalty with Hazard doing his best on that spot kick. What do we do then? We sub our best players. First Hazard, Oscar goes off after a kick on the foot and then Mata. Why? What is the reason? Rafa really thought the scousers did not have it in them to come back like this. Boy, was he wrong. How can you misread a game like that if you are a professional manager???? We all saw it on here, we all thought the same. Does he think he is God? Does he believe he sees things nobody else sees? His intellectual unmodesty is baffling. It is even more than that. It is sheer stupidity. What was he thinking - our mastermind. 5. The defence was very very shaky - such sloppy man marking at crucial times. 6. At times the pivot wasn't there as well : Mikel went missing motivational wise - Rami did well only to mix it up with technical shortcomings. Now this is a game to truly forget. Ps: Fuck you Rafa. Rupert can call me a hater now for all he wants. Rafa deserves a big and well meant fuck you for this display.
