So the first one is literally just the total appearances of all the players that played for the first team that are a product of that teams academy. Thats how they're ranked and there is also information on how many players that's divided between. Its just showing which teams are relying on their academy products/creating good academy players. the second one is looking more at their contribution to the team. How many games are they starting, and how many goals are they contributing type thing. would be good to look at point contribution, but its a lot of work! some teams rate their academies highly, some teams have them for the sake of it - just in case they find a worldie. Yeovil scrapped their academy last year because they hadn't brought a player through in something like 15 years (not sure exactly how many years). some academies are more efficient than others - Crewe topped this list, they also seem to produce a lot of players that go off in to the higher leagues - and this makes them their money maker. It's quite cool seeing it all in numbers and just how much of a difference there is between clubs. Man City were the lowest ranked out of all the league winners. with their impressive new facilities though they should be producing the best players in the world in the near future.

Yeah working on it for another club. Man city were about 78th in the total list. Its more of a project for clubs with very little external income.

The second one isn't finished yet... as you can see. Im not entirely sure I am allowed to share though, I will find out. the big list of 92 teams should be okay to share, I'll double check though.
-
I've been doing some work at the moment and thought Id share. I've been looking at the first team contribution of players grown at their club. Out of the 92 teams in the top 4 leagues we rank 52nd for apps contribution (Southampton are the highest ranking premier league club at 10th). At the bottom of the last one shows a % contribution. Don't know if its readable but we are at about 6%. Arsenal and Aston Villa were in the 20% range. I know it doesn't mean much to teams like our self, but thought it was interesting and worth sharing.

I've not been on in ages so whilst I'm here thought I'd stick an update in. Im in the same boat as a few of you, Ive slumped a bit in my training. I recently got myself a couple of kick ass internships in football and they've really sucked up all my free time. luckily I've managed to cement myself in to a few groups of football so im playing football 2/3 times a week. I get to be involved in a few coaching sessions etc at my internships so I'm pretty active in terms of how much football I get to play. However im only getting in the gym once a week which is really frustrating. And my diet has become terrible, and theres no excuse for it to be honest. so my main focus now is to fix my diet and try and get in the gym twice a week, and by writing in here for y'all to see im hoping it'll boost me to do that! (...said whilst eating a pizza!). Also got a little tip for those wanting some casual ab workouts. all you need is a mirror, sick tunes and no fear of looking like a stripper whore. Stand in the mirror, shirt off, focus on abs, and do an ab dance. like doing sit ups but stood up. really squeeze and contract. I tend to do this 10-15minutes every other day and I have no proof to say its that thats working, but I get aches and I've got alllllll kinds of gains!

Ive gone from lifting weights 5 times a week to doing just 2 full body workouts a week and a shit load of football. I've been packing the muscle on. I know everybody is different and i clearly need a longer recovery time and its working an absolute treat. I feel a lot better mentally as well by playing more football. A good cardio session always makes me feel good, a weights session does too but nowhere near to the level a cardio one does.

The skankiest girl from school that everyone mocked and was often a subject of "would you rather" e.g. "would you rather lick out X or be sucked off by a tramp" is giving heavy hints for some NSA fun... do you or dont you? theres onl a small risk of people finding out, but it cant be ruled out. enjoy

I've got a horrible feeling someone big is going to be sold. Good player but why are we buying so many attacking mids!? Jose obviously has a plan or is seeing something in our players that we aren't. And I know it'll work out well cuz Jose never makes mistakes, but it does confuse me.
-
A good result. I don't like how we lined up for it and the tactics of the game. But it is a good result. Why no mata? Why no Lukaku? Why no forward passing? Why no attacking? A great defensive display though, we were solid. Good result. I'm worried for mata and Lukakus future though...
-
the thing I like about this is that we will rip the balls of spurs with this. jose said he'd have to loan somebody out and assuming willian would be a striker I see either lukaku or ba being loaned. I personally hope ba would be loaned. I dont think we need anotherstriker but as it looks like jose really wants one id be happy with willian. ..

Let me know if you find one on an ipad. And vice versa

Would love to see Lukaku start this (which im very sure he will), with KdB Mata and Hazard behind him. I've got a feeling Hazard wont start, we may see Schurrle instead with Hazard coming on as a sub at some point. a solid 3 points is what we need here. cant afford slip ups this early on. 3-0 Chelsea

"Respect your elders" is the message i think. seriously though, i understand what you are saying. i personally dont think van Ginkel is ready for the prem just yet, he'll need a few appearances of the bench for a while. Lukaku is way more than ready, i honestly think the striker selection today is 100% tactical. like i said, when Lukaku plays, he's under very different orders from when Torres has played.
-
I don't understand why people are so pissed of at Torres starting. Lukaku will come on as a sub for sure and will most likely start against Villa. Torres is good, and from what was seen in pre season when torres plays, his role is more of a rotational one letting the 3 behind him attack more. It looks like Jose understand we cant play with a lone striker up top as hull will probably defend pretty hard, instead he's opting for hte attacking 4 to just run at them and rotate like a nice 5 a side type tactic. itll tire hull out defensively pretty quick and we should get more opportunities this way.
