Lots of rotation and with the busy schedule to be expected, just need to get minutes on everyone's legs and get rid of the rusty play. We absolutely have to beat West Ham and that will then keep the pressure up. Psychologically I think we have dealt Leicester a big blow, maybe they were thinking the FA Cup could be theirs- they certainly don't look like a good team at the moment. We need to get ahead of them in the league and let them, Utd and Wolves battle it out for the final place - we should be finishing 3rd... RLC needs a lot of minutes- but it will be great having him at full tilt over the next few weeks - can see him playing a big part for some reason...

Check out what @Vesper has been saying. Kante in front of any back 2 improves them enormously, gives them confidence. We have to keep Kante there. Gilmour needs to play that pass to Pedro was sublime - like his second touch of the ball or something. The guy is class.

I think Frank needed Kante not to be rusty against City. This 3 month break is weird and I think it's good for players to get minutes under their belts. Villa are scrapping for their lives - was always going to a bit of a ding-dong. City don't really have much to play for and if we can keep a tight shape should be ok - they are exposed again defensively. We can't afford any Luiz-esque defending so the back 5 including Keppa need to work hard during training. If we could pick up a draw I would be happy.

Just needs to stay injury free. Otherwise he will be another Darren Anderton.

It was a mocking post from a previous thread. I know Azpi is on the decline. It's been a slow process for the past few seasons - but I still like him. And he did get 2 assists 👍👍👍

Winning ugly is hard - but we have done it. As @Jason said it's only our second victory from a losing position. Villa had the benefit of a game prior and it showed. We cannot play like that against City and I fully don't expect us to. You could see how rusty we were.

Honestly, just because on paper it looks easy or hard doesn't make it so. Sheff Utd will get something at Utd I'm sure of it. We can beat City Our game against the bin dippers will be largely irrelevant to them as they will have sealed the title by then and Klopp likes to tinker - so I do fully expect a weakened team. Also if it's us and Utd aiming for Top4 - there's no way they will want Utd to get in - their perfect season is winning the league and Utd missing out on CL. Have faith 👍

Nah it's good we win and we open up a 5pt gap. I think Utd will drop more points too - they just look awful as a team. If we can hit the ground running and start like we did at the beginning of the season- we are in business to cement 4th place. United looked arrogant - and Spuds looked average at best.
