THIS. People are wondering why Zola isn't in peoples teams, well if we are choosing players at their peak then how can people not have, Gullit, Vialli, Shevchenko, Deco, Weah, Crespo, Deschamps, Desailly, Petit and Torres in their teams!

I would have Zola in there but i done mine in the Abramovich era.

2004-05 Team was by far the best imo! and that team should have won the CL! but my best XI in the Abramovich era would be Cech Ivanovic - Carvalho - Terry - Cole Makelele Lampard - Ballack Robben - Drogba - Hazard But our current team has potential to be the best ever! with the right summer signings, we could be unstoppable!

My logic is the fact that i can see how much effort he puts in whenever he plays! and the fact that Jose is so ruthless and throughout his whole career has got rid or not played players who dont work hard! (except Ronaldo for obvious reasons) That is my logic! and where did i say i love Torres for his effort??? I just disagree with people who think he puts no effort in when i see him with my own eyes and his team-mates see this! I can understand people criticizing him for his football ability but to say he puts no effort in as well is way off the mark!

Not really, its clear his team-mates appreciate how hard he works for the team. If his team-mates had the same opinion as people on here of Torres then they wouldn't be so happy for him when he scores or plays well, the fact that they always support him shows they acknowledge the amount of effort and hard-work he puts in. After all his team-mates are the ones who see how he works day in day out, and you can see the amount of hard work and effort Mourinho demands from his players, if Torres wasn't putting effort in then he would never be anywhere near the first team!

but when you hear his team-mates and manager speak about how hard he works, i think it gives you a better idea of how he is in training! Also you could see his hardwork paying off last season, when his pace and acceleration dramatically improved.

I agree with you, but there seems to be some myth on here that Torres doesn't put effort in! Mourinho said himself we dont have strikers who score every week but our strikers work so hard for the team! we defend from the front and our strikers have done a great job at pressing from the front all season. When you hear the likes of Terry, Mata and Lampard speak about Torres they always mention how hard he works for the team, its actually very surprising how people on here cant see this! Its no surprise his pace and acceleration improved a lot last season, when Rafa came in, that never happened overnight, he worked his socks off to improve that side of his game, but yeah I guess Torres puts no effort in.
