Current defense situation (positions are fluid): LB: Cucurella, Hato RB: James, Gusto CB: Chalobah, Tosin, Acheampong, Badiashille, Fofana (fitness issues), Colwill (basically out for whole season), Anselmino (young, not proven), Murray-Cambpell (young, propably not good enough) Bomb squad: Chilwell, Veiga, Disasi, Gilchrist As you can see, numbers are here, but some fitness/qualities concerns are also here.

Considering Fofana, Lavia and R. James health it's pretty good depth. However even with a lot of games I think some of the forwards will be unhappy with playing time - how to properly split game time between Gittens, Garnacho, Simons, Palmer, Neto and Estevao, also considering that Enzo and Santos can play AM?

Madueke? Sterling and Chilwell sales are much more difficult.

No way we will go with those CBs, Fofana is playing 10 games, and Badiashile is terrible. That would leave us with Colwill and Tosin only (and Hato who is not ready to be CB in PL)

So, if Nkunku, Jackson and Guiu (loan) are to left, our attacking options will be: ST: J Pedro, Delap LW: Gittens, Simons, RW: Neto, Estevao, George AM: Palmer, KDH, Enzo So, counting Enzo as half, we have 9.5 players for 4 positions. Seems reasonable as KDH and George won't see much playing time.

I haven't watched too much of Xavi Simons - is he really what we need? Won't we have another 'Nkunku/Felix' problem - he won't displace Palmer as 10, so we will try to shoehorn into another position, where he won't be so good?

You can be frustrated by whole situation, wanting to send him to reserves. But calling him 'cunt' because he is earning money from contract we gave him? That's too much.

You are going a little bit too extreme, 'that cunt'? we gave him the contract, he doesn't want to move his family to Saudi, perfectly understandable approach by him. We can cuss him out, but it is his right to deny a move, especially to such a country as Saudi.

So are we in for a new CB? Veiga/Disasi/Gilchrist - to be sold Sarr/Anselmino - to be loaned out Acheampong - more fullback then CB Fofana - won't play more than 10 games Badiashille - he is terrible That leaves us with Colwill/Chalobah/Tosin - I know they are capable of great game, but the are not consistent enough, trusting them for PL/CL run is suicidal

Depends on Jackson and Nkunku - if we sell both we will be again rather thin in forwards (as Maresca not trusting George. Also Estevao is still little bit uncertaing, so is Gittens TBH)

Chukwumueka is too old to count as young loan. Also you forgot about Ugochukwu and Gilchrist.

So, if Madueke leaves this be our status (positions are 'more or less'): - ST: Joao Pedro, Delap, Jackson, Guiu - LW: Gittens - RW: Neto, Estevao, George - AM: Palmer, with Enzo and KDH being able to cover in case of emergency. If Jackson leaves, different reports on Guiu going on loan, KDH leaving, George not being trusted we again will be a little thin if we won't buy someone.

At CWC Maresca begins using FBs in more traditional way.
