    In my opinion, he's never gonna get a regular starting spot here. He deserves more than sitting on the bench/spending every season on loan. Even at Bolton and Fulham he couldn't get into the starting lineup, and if he was a big talent that we need, he could have get more playing time there. So, i think, we should sell him.

    I didn't expect that, but I don't want those players to join us, that later want to join a so called bigger club. I know that Chelsea is not his last club, but it would be good to have him for 8-9 years, rather than for 3-4 years.

    I hope, he doesn't 'use' Chelsea in order to join Real Madrid or barcelona later. That interview on the French radio station in the afternoon made me a little worried about it, but hopefully i'm just too paranoid Btw, welcome to Chelsea, Eden!

    Then in the near future we would have to retire many numbers, which would make no sense.

    Then who should get it in your opinion? I'm not saying Hazard has to get the #11, but i don't think it would be a disgrace.

    Even his Belgian teammates were talking about his switch, and they mentioned Chelsea, not other clubs (mu, City). And Lampard wouldn't have talked about it, if he hadn't known he's joining us.
