For those moaning at Torres for not turning up to this event, Juan Mata and Petr Cech also haven't gone. Also its Fernando Torres' sons birthday today. Give the man some slack!
He is a proper legend, Footballing great. Not just talent, But a great attitude and personality. Spends millions on hospitals, Ended civil wars in his home-town, Wins the Champions League with his final kick of a ball in a Chelsea shirt. Then shells out nearly £1 million for his former-teammates on rings LEGEND!
Tottennham fans signing "Champions of Europe, Not anymore" - Embarrassing, Singing about us when were not even playing them. We put them in the Europa League, Now just imagine being able to knock them out of this lol.
Didn't notice it lol, Just always see people calling him to be sacked etc. Its alright us wanting him out, But who'll actually come in and replace him?
Loved how he came on tonight, He always has a smile on his face. He did a step over, and the whole stadium cheered. That made my laugh, Good old Paulo! Proper servant to the club. Loyal as you can get!
Good performance tonight from him (excluding the saved penalty, which was poor by his standards) - On numerous occasions he dribbled past several players, His assist was good. Was enjoying to watch us play tonight once we knew the game was fully in our hands. Just a shame it all came down to nothing. On wards and upwards now though, Up the Chels!
Glad he's signed a new 5 year contract, Been on good form the past year. Had his ups and downs still, But he's a good player. Not the worlds best in that position, But on his day. He's great.
When we were down 2-0 to Barcelona at the Nou Camp with 10 men, had you said we could go onto win the Champions League that season, But doing so meant we had to go out the group-stages next season. I would of taken it in a heartbeat. I'll never forget last-seasons tournament. 19/05/12 - Chelsea become the first London side to win the Champions League.
Goals a goal, He deserved them tonight. Was unlucky not go get his hatrick. Also he looked confident tonight, That Rabona cross to Moses showed that. Not getting too excited though, It was against a side which aren't even Premier league standard. Just now he's got two goals, Vital he keeps scoring them and keeps his head high. Apparently he's got more goals in open-play this season than Radamel Falcao as well...
How was that not a penalty? Would be great for Torres to get his hatrick. Hope he does, Means nothing i know. But it'll hopefully get him scoring in the next run of games!
