  1. Everything I've read makes our chances of a successful move to Battersea look unlikely; however bids aren't always all they are cracked up to be. There have been so many false starts that a bid from a local bidder (CFC) with a vested interest in the finished site (the stadium) might have a lot more credibility than another straightforward development plan... and nobody would doubt that Abramovich can make it happen if he's willing to get his hand in his pocket!
  2. BTW I rate Kalou as a decent squad player who has the ability to improve, scores important goals and is willing to work hard for the team... Now Sturridge on the other hand!
  3. Fans who attend matches regularly are not all affluent. I basically take out a loan to pay for my season ticket and borrowed money when I was a member to get enough loyalty points for a season ticket. My £750 MHL ticket is good vfm compared to the cost of going to individual matches ans struggling to ever get tickets for the big European games etc. It's a question of priorities and sacrificing other things for me. Yes it should be cheaper, but don't assume those who do afford it do so easily from spare change!
  4. Hello, signed up here after chatting to a couple of fellow Blues on the Coach Innovations trip to/from Munich. Also figure it's a decent way to discuss travel plans etc and possibly source or sell tickets while keeping away from touts. I'm a season ticket holder in the MHL, rarely miss a league match and get to as many others as I possibly can. The Blues run in the family and my kids, dad, sister, nephews all go to games on a regular basis. My dad is 70+ and is a MHU season ticket holder.
