  1. True but Eto'o could lift chelsea to the same level as Bayern and Barcelona. Depending on his performance of course. But I assume he could play at his best with Mourinho taking him there. And if he can't it wouldn't be the end of the world. His name alone should be worth 10m.
  2. Michu has to proof himself again first and besides I ment bargain for chelsea...
  3. That's the good part. If he is really going to flop we can just sell him. There will always be clubs like Monaco with more money than brain. The reason why Eto'o isn't going to such clubs right away is because of Mourinho and their past together. 10m transfer fee + 7m salary = 17m. That is a risk worth take it if you consider what the could do for the club. Besides Eto'o is a very big name and I'm sure his name will sell many kits. The financial loss would be within a reasonable limit. So if he flops the loss wouldn't be exorbitantly high. And if he doesn't flop we bought the bargain of the century.
  4. Why not? Obiviosly he has to cut his wages. So if it would be enough for him to earn about 7 Million a year I would take him with open arms (assuming that the transer fee is underneath 10 Million). He still can play at the highest level and with 32 he is in a advanced stage of his carrer, so he isn't going to hinder Lukaku in the future unlike Rooney. Let's say we could get him for 10m Pounds -> 3 year deal worth 7m a year -> 31m Pounds for a genuis of player over 3 years. Rooney would cost us at least 40m Pounds transer fee -> 5 year deal worth 10,5m a year -> 92,5m Pounds for also a world class player but he would be in the way of Lukaku in the future.
  5. Who selected the team anyway? And will Benitez come with the team?
  6. May be, but Ivanovic has more experience and is 1on1 (in defence) the better player atm. This is important because Shakhtar likes to play with combinations.
  7. Shakhtar has impressive offensive players. So it would be wise to let Ivanovic play as RB to be more secure when they are attacking. But I would give Luiz a break. Ivanovic----Cahill----Terry----Cole
  8. Hazard = 32 Mio Hulk = around 40 Mio Marin = 8 Mio Fellaini would cost about 25 Mio We also need a right back. A accepteble one will cost 15-25 Mio =120-130 Million Pounds. Who can afford that kind of money?
  9. We already have a manager. RDM will stay, I'm sure of it!
  10. Sorry, but selling Torres wouldn't make no sence at all. He is getting better with every game. It would be a huge loss. I don't think that Sturridge is ready to be the Number 1 striker. He need way more experience, especially in CL.
  11. lol u're right^^ I ment Sao Paulo, don't know why I wrote Santos...
  12. I just don't think, that he is ready for PL just now. In my opinion he is like Lucas Piazon. Maybe a little bit better with the skills, but still not ready for Chelsea. If we would sign him now than he has to gather experience at a smaller club.
  13. Sturridge would be Number 2 and if we would sign Hulk, he could be striker for the period of Torres' absence. It wouldn't make sence to sign a new big-name guy if he is going to sit on the bench. I would also be pleased with Ba als Back-Up.
  14. 20 Million for a Mata Back Up is definitely too much, He's better of with United. They need him most.
