  1. Imagine using Martial / Rashford as wingers & instructing them to track back
  2. Shocked that Ibra's back already, I clearly missed something. Anyone with sense starts him over Lukaku. Ability is so much more important than age, it goes without saying.
  3. IF WE EXPERIMENT WITH WILLIAN IN MIDFIELD I'LL SQUIRM WITH PLEASURE. If we go with Willian/Pedro on the wings i'll punch my bed. At heart, he was a playmaker before we signed him. It was our doofus decision to put a player who can hardly cross or dribble on the wing. Probably too late for him to learn adequate defensive duties though.
  4. At this point I'd bring Azpilicueta off (so we can practice coping without him) and introduce Ampadu, since he's played CB, and we'll learn if we have a new body for that position should injuries ever pile up.
  5. I still think Bakayoko's proving to be a passenger. Would today be any different if Mikel was here and starting in his place? Even Ramires? I don't think so. And that's his level. Every player at Chelsea's level should be able to influence the game.
  6. Get Fabregas off already, just for his stamina's sake. This isn't rocket science.
  7. What has you quoting me talking about Salah got to do with our game?
  8. When did Hazard last contribute to 3 goals from the wing?
  9. Salah's the highest scoring player in the PL this season? What a fucking disaster.
  10. Time to let Drinkwater get match fitness IMO. Or just pretend we don't have him, which i'd prefer. Ampadu in such case.
  11. Most consistent stream. No English commentary. https://www.pscp.tv/w/1YpKkWpnbpjKj
  12. Going forward we need to keep Hazard central, and add wingers who're both exceptional at crossing (Morata's only going to get better with his headers) and equally, exceptional at defensive duties. Master this, and Kante + a playmaking-defensive player (Kovacic for example) will allow us to finally play teams off the field. (4-2-3-1)* With our current set-up, we'll always play weaker, a counter-attack style, when facing the biggest teams in Europe. *
  13. A goal coming from Hazard being central Morata needs support like this. He needs players behind him.
  14. I found a stream that suffers seizures*. First thing i see is Hazard down. Great! And so did the above* http://www.genti.stream/hd3.php
  15. There's never been more stream sites & less streams.
  16. No more Hazard on the wing makes me happy. More and more and more of a central player he becomes. Lille simply had to use the formation they used, so Hazard was on the wing. We simply saw him play on the wing, thus signed him to play there. But considering his very best moments (imo), come from central, considering his idol played central, it makes all the sense in the world for this to continue. We wonder why he's not yet reached the very, very top of the football world - it's probably because he's too damn polite to tell his coaches he's better deployed elsewhere.
  17. More 5-3-2 - perfect. No Luiz again - the start of an unexpected defensive downfall, IMO. I think it was a 5-3-2 we used when we had Desailly, Zola, Wise etc. Such a great moment for the club those years - one of the Prem's most underrated teams. Introduced Terry, won a cup with Flo & Vialli up front, had familiar faces with Poyet, Petrescu and Di Matteo all starting together at times too
  18. If i was Sanchez i would've issued a come-and-get-me plea to Juventus for a couple of seasons. Both would be better off; Juve really needed more instant-impact players, but they went for damn Bernardeschi. Sanchez-Dybala would be orgasmic.
  19. Nice to have 1 common hate with Arsenal.
  20. It's amazing how the once highly desirable trio of Hulk - Falcao - James Rodriguez have all proven to be completely overestimated. Seeing Falcao scoring so many in France again this season is a bittersweet reality for him. Now unrelated to them, it's hilarious Liverpool sold Luis Alberto for something like £3m, and now he's a £30m player. Won't hear a peep from the media about it though.
  21. Roma derby today, featuring dejected players following Italy's situation. I think Roma's Italians will be more rocked by it, but Immobile may have come crashing back to reality after being pathetic for Italy. That said, I believe today will be the day that casual viewers who take Roma's 'success' at face value learn that their midfield is inferior to their neighbours. Inzaghi's turning out to be a special manager for Lazio too (remembering this isn't Pippo, but his younger brother who played the bulk of his career with Lazio. That just adds to the stars aligning in their favour.) Stat-wise, Lazio are more clinical this season with less shots per game than Roma, so you can theoretically dominate them all game yet still lose. Then count the fact that they're having players explode with confidence (Luis Alberto, Savic, Leiva, Bastos) in a world where Roma's newest additions (Under, Schick, Defrel) are useless; add on top, this is Nainggolan's first average season, Strootman's now just trying to hold his value before being sold, and Roma's best player is a 32 year old full-back. Roma should be counting on Florenzi. It's his chance to become the new face of Rome. If Roma win, it'll be big. If Lazio win, it'll be big, but nobody cares about Lazio, so not as big Cost £65 to attend this game, in some of the best seats. Wish I could've gone. https://www.thesportsman.com/articles/lazio-v-roma-the-changing-face-of-the-derby-della-capitale
  22. Didn't realise Morata is indeed ahead of Lukaku in terms of goals-per-game in the league at this point. If we aren't in the title race, that can be one of our little races.
