  1. I have always been a fan of Ivanovic (who can forget his headed goals against the likes of Liverpool in the UCL and Benefica in the UEL final?) - but he has been poor ever since the Man Utd game. And as I've mentioned it before, the Brazilians need to go: Oscar, Willian, and Ramires. They lack genuine quality, physical strength given the nature of the game in the EPL, but most importantly: the mental strength to defend a lead and to see the game out. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is the worst Brazilian generation to play football since the 1950's, or in fact, in their history as evidenced by their total collapse in the 2014 World Cup - in which they suffered the worst defeat in their history. Big games coming up ahead: Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United. That's 9 points either lost or gained. Mourinho needs to sort out this mess, our luck will sooner or later run out.
  2. The Brazilian duo (Willian and Oscar) are the weakest link in the team. Brazil's complete capitulation at the 2014 World Cup was prove enough of their genuine lack of quality and more importantly mental strength. The minute things start going wrong, they'll simply collapse on you as demonstrated by Germany's 7-1 riot of Brazil, Brazil's worst defeat in their footballing history. Both need to go. Hazard is the only world class player in the team.
  3. No. But that begs the question: Why is Mourinho keeping the above players around? 30m for Cuadrado - and he could barely bring the ball under control today and got signed up this transfer window. Awful decision Mikel and Ramires are past it, why keep them around? Grandpa Drogba? He's a Chelsea legend but clearly past it, if Mourinho's decides to sign players for sentimental reasons then he's paying the price for it now.
  4. Why the fuck is Mourinho not rotating the squad? I'm tired of his shit house negative mentality.
  5. Sell the Brazilian duo this summer, they're useless.
  6. Oscar and Willian are the weakest link in the first 11; the latter cannot score even if his life depended on it. Cuadrado was absolutely abhorrent today, Fabregas looked tired, and Matic was awful.
  7. Another piss poor performance against Southampton. Got his tactics all wrong in the first half. Southhampton were running free down their right side. Should be sacked if he does not win PL title honestly for negative mentality alone.
  8. Drogba.. Thank you for everything, what a way to go out. I'm so happy that he was able to win the UCL, this was always going to be his final season as a Chelsea player. We will never forget you, good luck :blue scalf:
  9. Spurs were always in it for the money, they couldn't possibly dream of winning the European Cup in all fairness. In any case, the #1 argument against Chelsea from the other English fans is predominantly: "they did not deserve to win blah blah, got lucky, blah blah, anti-football blah blah". What's funny is that IF ANY club deserved to win the Champions League these past 7-8 years, it was none other than Chelsea. We have been the unluckiest club on earth: 2004-05: Lost to Liverpool in a controversial manner (See: Ghost Goal) despite dominating both legs thoroughly in the Semi-Finals. 2006-07: Lost to Liverpool yet again in the Semi-Finals on penalties. 2007-08: Lost to Man Utd in the FINAL on penalties. 2008-09: The debacle and refereeing farce that would be against Barcelona in the Semi-Finals. Wrongly dismissed on away goals by not being given 4 clear penalties. No other club in Europe had such a heartbreaking run without winning it in the last 7-8 years. I am not surprised that our luck had finally turned around (and in abundance) this time around. It was due. Well due.
  10. I will start off by saying that Chelsea winning the UCL was the happiest day of life. Drogba will forever be a legend at Chelsea, and will never be forgotten. Having said that, I was appalled by the amount of hate, jealousy, bitterness, and down-right snobbery on some of the other big English Club forums. The reaction of the Spurs fans was expected given the fact that they've been relegated to Channel 5 on Thursdays, so I will just summarize the reaction/feelings of some of the forums that I had read: Liverpool (RAWK): utter hate and bitterness, to the point where some (but very few) of their fans were calling for the thread to be closed/deleted. The whole thing could aptly be summarized in one word: a disgrace. The trauma of losing the FA Cup final, their past 2-3 seasons being a wreck, and them living in their past glory has pushed this lot to the lowest levels of snobbery and bitterness. Definitely, the worst and most bitter bunch. Man Utd (RedCafe): Jealously, hatred, mockery, and bitterness (obviously, a trophy-less season and conceding the title to none other than Man City dealt a great deal of trauma to those miserable fans anyway). I wouldn't blame them. Arsenal (Arsenal-Mania): More or less in shambles (as usual). Some calling for their board members to be sacked, others for Wenger's head, calling in for fresh players, money to be spent, with the added snobbery and bitterness that follows any club when their rivals beat them to the European Cup. Some (but very few) pointed the positives (Spurs' wrecked season next year). All in all: a sad miserable bunch of human beings. They made a pathetic scene every time.
