Noone at the club wants him to rot in the reserves but they want a realistic price for Costa. Of course we don't want to be the suckers who buy Morata for 70 million and let Costa go for 15. Play hard balls on this.

He is pretty much like I thought he's gonna be: - won more aerials yesterday than Matic in a whole season - he is a beast, strong as hell and not scared to bump into opponents unlike Matic - got some sweet attacking skills. It was a great frist game of him considering that he was injured for 3-4 months and only has been training with the team for a week or so. Great job, can't wait to see him at his best condition.

Falcao was the best. We had been rumoured to be interested from 2009 but only signed him in 2015 when no one really cared anyomre

COSTA STATEMENT Diego Costa has released a statement saying he's NOT coming back to Chelsea and only wants to play for Atletico Madrid.
-
I'm pretty sure it's not happening. Luiz will stay in the defence with Rüdiger on the let and Azpilicueta on the right and Christensen will be Kanté's partner. That central CB(swiper) position is very important, Luiz pretty much runs the whole team many times. Christensen is a wonderful talent but doesn't have the charisma nor experience to be the swiper in a game like that, but I think he might be decent in the midfield. He played there before, he has the strenght, he can tackle, has good forward passes. I highly doubt we will play with a Rüdiger-Christensen-Azpilicueta defense against Spurs.
-
We do have a few more spaces. Eduardo, Caballero, Courtois, Rüdiger, Luiz, Azpilicueta, Kanté, Bakayoko, Alonso, Pedro, Hazard, Willian, Bats, Morata. That's 14. I didn't count Diego and Rémy since I am sure they are leaving. Even if Loic stays we'll be able to sign some foreign guys.

I am not a big fan of Batshuayi nor Morata, I want the player in a better condition/form to play. Still I think that Michy had quite a good game against Arsenal, considering how shit our offense was. I'm not judging Morata on that 15 minute but still, he had a nightmare game, so it was a reasonable decision not to bench Bats, just as reasonable as starting Morata agasinst Spurs.
-
Michy was quite good against Arsenal while Morata caused a goal and fucked up a penalty so he was pretty much Arsenal's mvp. Why would have Michy lost his place? What's wrong with earned places? Torres started like every fucking game for years because he was expensive and supposed to be good. Sorry that i don't want this again. Morata didn't show shit before the Burnley game. He was better than Michy yesterday so i ok with him starting against Spurs. But if he starts to suck and Michy starts to score we shouldn't stick with Alvaro, let the better play. This is how a team should work like.
-
Still fair? Yes. Morata didn't earn to start against Burnley, but with this performance he did earn it.
-
Starting Batshuayi is the fair thing. He has been great since April, had a good preseason and was decent against Arsenal. Morata is the new guy and his only match for Chelsea was a complete nightmare, worst debut ever. So why would he start? He'll probably play today and play many more games, he'll have time to prove his class, but so far Michy is the no1.
-
He didn't feature in the last 2-3 preseason games of Leicester, he is reportedly injured.
-
Ricardo Rodriguez is a garbage player. He scores a lot bc he is a decent set piece taker and converts penalties well but in general he is shit. No wonder no top clubs wanted him. He is 25, he had been playing for Wolfsburg for years but no big club wanted him. Also, good fullbacks cots 30-50 million euros now, why did Wolfsburg let him go for 15?
-
Also, Drinkwater used to play as Kanté's pair in a PL-champion team, so he should be a fit. Krycho was decent for Sevilla but sucked hard at PSG.
-
This should rather be 3-5-2 with the same names with Willian in no10 so Morata won't have to play in the left wing.
-
He played in only 22 games in Ligue 1 last season, he sat on the bench various times, PSG got Meunier for a cheap fee, they have signed Dani Aves, so I can't see why not.
-
Can't see happening. He doesn't fit into our system. Too short, we can't play Kanté and Verratti nex to each other. Even Fábregas sits on the bench because we need a stronger, taller guy.
-
Who would you get from PSG? I think we should sign a defensive midfielder, one or two wingback and maybe a winger. I think Krychowiak, Meunier and Aurier might be the ones who could be available and we should go for.
-
Strong first post, mate.
-
I read that they have to loan him out first as he will not be able to get a work permit.
-
Yeah, I walked into this, fuck.
-
Wow.. I know Sissoko had a shit season but this is a bit humiliating.
-
So, City is not a direct rival for Arsenal but Chelsera is?
-
This skill may be very useful in games when.. khm... we get a free kick from the stand.

Ox's contract ir running out in one year, so now or never. How does Bertrand come here? Ox is a RWB, no LWB.

Falcao and Pato last season.
