Great move. He will excel there, then sell for as much as possible. Few years ago we missed a massive chance with Batshuayi, this time we shouldn’t be tempted.
-
Oh.. I complete missed he was sent on loan. Was wondering why he wasn’t on the bench Yesterday, Poch seems to like him.
-
He really seems to be great. Left back, but pretty much playmaker often coming in the central midfield during games, like Cancelo in his best years at City.
-
Finally the boys seem to be hungry and enjoy the game.
-
Sorry, did not mean to open this topic. Just got surprised to see his name, did not know he still plays, I was kid when he played for City.
-
We have been waiting him to start to cook for a year. Cannot blame Poch/Lampard not give him a go.
-
Please bring on Ched Evans.. I haven’t seen him since he went to prison.
-
Ahh, could have scored this one.. Nice run by Alfie though.
-
Day off??? For what? He played like 70 minutes of football in the past 8 months or so. Must be fittness issue. By the way, is this 4-2-3-1? I am not so sure about Gilchrist and Gusto position. Can be 4-2-3-1 or 3-5-2. I hope not 3 ATB with Sterling wing back.
-
Just as Poch promised, not many change. Happy to see Gilchrist and Gusto in the team though. For Broja, this should be the very last chance. Today he must deliver.
-
I know, right? Look at this piece of diamond from .com’s article: “Another player who will definitely not be involved against Preston is Nicolas Jackson, who has joined up with the Senegal squad for their upcoming Africa Cup of Nations campaign. However, our head coach believes that could provide good opportunities for fellow strikers Armando Broja and Christopher Nkunku over the next month, as they both look to regain their full fitness and form following lengthy injuries.” So we have 3 stirkers(if we consider Nkunku a striker). One just left for Afcon, two “seem to regain fitness”.. Tragic.. And what if Broja regains his fitness? He is still Broja. What about this Washington kid? He was on the bench many times but only played few minutes, on a lost game. Is he any good? Is he playing for reserves?

I have seen very little from each players, but quite confident Casadei and Ugochukwu are very very different kind of players, different roles. Not sure of Santos though.
-
Few years ago when we had the transfer ban, half of our starting eleven(James, Mount, Tomori, Reece, Abraham) came from the Championship. Lavia is young but he trained and appeared for City under Guardiola and has one full PL-season. We should manage our expectations accordingly but he does have the foundatons.
-
Lavia must have taken tons of pressure from Caicedo’s shoulders with being available for like 25 minutes in the past half year 😂 Agree though. Caicedo is doing ok and can improve. But looking at his 120 million price tag, fans were/are expecting Saviour Jesus Christ enters Stamford Bridge in #25 jersey and wins us all games. Same as Enzo..
-
With MU lose Today, we are within 3 points with them, Brighton and Newcastle. All 3 teams are in quite bad shape, would be nice if we overtook in the next couple of weeks.
-
Not like we had a lots of use of him when it comes to attacking.
-
Palmer.. that was nasty
-
However, Poch cannot be criticized for playing him as LB as both Chilwell and Cucurella.. Understand Maatsen is not an option.
-
What’s this defending from Luton 😂😂 They were watching Noni like in cinema. Well done by Noni though. Been criticizing him a lot, but two goals in the PL is something he deserves credit for.
-
When Palmer scored I was hoping for a comfortable afternoon.. Well it’s not. I’m happy there’s no more games this year, let’s get over this and try to win somehow.
-
7 goals already by Palmer at half season. If he can keep up and end up with 14-15, that’s very nice from a 20-21 years old.
-
Quite odd that Broja and Jackson both starts, especially with Sterling skipped last game.
-
You are right: Kudos, Noni! Good luck on your loan.
-
When you are 60 million player but you don't get minutes because big money signing needs to get minutes.. Shit.. Few years ago 60 million signing would be huge!
-
Well, we won. Number 6 at the Bridge this year, depressing but at least not 5. Petrovic, Gusto, Gallagher and Nkunku deserves a high five. Mudryk and Jackson had their moments aswell, overall they are too wasteful. Maatsen.. Oh my god. I fail to see what he would be like if he was playing well. Feeding strikers with crosses? Shots from distance? Passes inside the box horizontally? What’s his purpouse on the field? If Lavia and Nkunku can boost the team, we can slowly climb up a bit. Castle, Brighton, Manchester United and West Ham aren’t so far away, both on the table and on the field.
