  1. Rumours in west london over the last few days is qpr's stadium will be in kensal green on the site where car giant and powerday currently reside, and we are in talks to buy the land where the linford Christie stadium sits and a small bit of land on wormwood scrubs. As I've said before earls court is my first choice by far,but if that can't happen we really are struggling after that.kensal gasworks would probably be my second choice as it's in kensington and CHELSEA but on the downside it is 4 miles from Stamford bridge. White city/scrubs feels too much like qpr country but with them moving away we could stamp our authority on that area.if it is to be white city/scrubs then so be it,at least it is still west london which wouldn't have been the case if we had made that dreadful move to battersea...
  2. Change the red seats at wembley to blue, downsize to 65k and lets move in there...happy days!
  3. Any site in west london is a site to consider, especially one so close to the bridge. Earls court was always my first choice, and I HATE the idea of battersea!!!
  4. Chelsea v qpr, chelsea v Fulham and qpr v Fulham are all WEST london derbies!
  5. I know battersea is a chelsea stronghold, but were a west london club not a south london club.i meant the kensal gasworks in ladbroke grove.
  6. Agree on harrow.plus that's arsenal/spurs territory in terms of support. Old oak common is a mixture of qpr and arsenal.the acton side being qpr the harlesden side being arsenal. Kensal gasworks(which is ladbroke grove) is qpr heartland, and if u cross the canal that takes u into kensal rise which is proper gooner territory in regards to fanbase. Linford Christie stadium again is qpr heartland. 100% agree earls court is the only real option,at a push I'd tolerate the gasworks site in ladbroke grove. Harrow and old oak common are non starters for me as chelsea are just not a north london club!
  7. Personally I saw battersea as a no-no.i'd have earls court,w10 gasworks, and even white city all before battersea.whatever we do we must stay in west london!
  8. Personally mate I would love to stay but long term we will need a bigger ground.out of the above options i think the gasworks site would b my preferred choice.
  9. With battersea a no-go(thank god) and earls court extremely unlikely what location would everyone be happy with.1)Linford Christie stadium in white city,2) Unigate site in white city,3)kensal gasworks in W10,4)old oak common/atlas road in harlesden,5)Kodak site in harrow, which is the latest rumour.or is there another site anyone has in mind??
  10. Personally I've mixed feelings.it is a nw postcode, but it is Hammersmith and Fulham.
  11. Just got that feeling mate.no other options
  12. Heard on very good authority that ourselves and qpr are looking at the kensal gasworks site as a potential location for a new stadium, only problem could be the cost of the land.second choice for both clubs is the old oak common site in park royal/harlesden.the kensal site comes under ken &chelsea w10,and the old oak site comes under hammrsth & fulham nw10.are my fellow blues happy with either location?
