Seriously, I am a bit puzzled by the nervousness here. This clash is more of psychological effect than anything else. Whoever wins tonight will have a small boost though. The season is too early to have much barring on the standings. Of course I´d love to see Chelsea to do well. A draw would be just fine for me.

IF he scores? Mata is one of the most important players at Chelsea for the last two seasons. Irreplaceable. Rooney can score 20-30 goals, I do not care how many, Mata should never be sold as part of some Rooney´s deal. I´d rather end up 2nd or 3rd with Mata, than get rid of this class act. Mata is poetry in motion & no fucking Rooney can replace that, in my view. Straight deal, maybe, even that there is no guarantee the Shrek will score many goals as some of you think he will. His transfer fee, wages. Fuck him. Bring Eto´o for peanuts in comparison. Then, let´s see how it goes in January.

Who cares how many goals the Shrek scores ? Mata is Chelsea, well liked, one great player, the future of Chelsea. I take him over the Shrek, any day. Just one thing, I like to add here. Mata has class & we can not say that about the Shrek. I like to see Chelsea being lined up with classy player. At least I feel that way. Rooney does not look classy, acts classy & he is just another chaw bacon, to me.

If Mata is sold, Jose might as well pack his bags & hit the road. No Chelsea fan will ever forgive him for it. Nothing to worry about Mata. Players like him are not sold.

If Eto´o signed, I believe it´ll be for 2-3 years. Certainly, he can help the team much better than Ferda or BA, I feel.

I believe, Eto´o for 2m is a great deal. Some might say, he is old, lost his pace & all that jazz. Quite the contrary. Jose is going utilize him well. Jose will bring the attacking mid-fielders into play & bingo. Chelsea saves plenty of money here & it will work, I feel.

I am a bit surprised to see you folks here even bother to answer all these clueless comparisons. As we all know, the only player better than any Chelsea´s striker is Van P. The rest of manures, some are close to Chelsea ones, but over all Chelsea do have a better squad, I feel. The only team in PL that´s slightly better is Citeh for now. Today, Chelsea signed Willian, perhaps next week Rooney or even one more player as Jose indicated. It depends on who´s coming, just maybe Chelsea will be compared & match Citeh.

Who dared to compare DG to Cech ?

The way I see it. it seems to me a very cautious game on Monday. A slow waiting game by both teams waiting for the mistakes. Also, I get the feeling a low scoring game. Hopefully, Chelsea can blanked them again.

Well said. It´s sci-fi here most of the times. Chelsea signs a good player, folks snivel here. Chelsea do not sign anybody for 4 weeks, folks questioned the club. Somehow, the Belgium troops in here are the biggest complainers.

Well, at the academy...who is there to play for Chelsea ? If you noticed for several years now, Chelsea predominantly buy young players & sends them out on loans. A very shrewed way, I might add.
