If any player wants to show his coach how good he is, he needs to be on the pitch. It´s simple as that. Since Mata was not playing much then, he could not have proved his motivation to Jose. However, Jose had seen it yesterday. I hope, he paid attention attentively.

So far, Hazard has not played well, I feel. Should Jose ask him to play more defensively as he wanted Mata to play ? No way Jose. Hazard is not that kind of player. As seen yesterday, Mata is No.10 without any doubt. The best position for him. Finally, he has shown to Jose what he is all about. The team played very well in the second half under Mata´s guidance. Even Torres was at his best we had seen for months.

To some, Mata was good, to me he changed the game after he came on. It proves my relentless postings here, my point is still the same. Mata must play as No 10 ahead of Oscar.

Mata might have been a bit rusty, but that´s not the reason to bench him for too long. Jose was clueless & Mata proved him wrong this week.

Nobody is for individual players, at least I am not. But if someone like you keep posting here, Mata needs to defend better & he should be sold if he does not adapt to Jose´s clueless decision, then some of us object to it. That´s all.

Jose benched him, nothing else. Clueless decision in my view. No reason for it. Play your best player for two years running, that´s what Jose should have done. Oscar may play but not as No 10. He still has got a lot to learn from Mata. Trust me on it Bara.

Let´s to be more with reality of today´s game. In the first half, not much by Chelsea, lucky not to be down by 2-3 goals, then. Second half, Mata came on & not to my surprise the team started to play much better. Now, do we still have people here who wants to dispute Mata´s contribution to Chelsea even let him go, as posted here especially by our famous mom from Brazil ? Had Schurrle scored on his clear chance, Chelsea most likely would have walked out of there with 3 points. In my view, the team & Jose must wake up asap & start playing Mata, I feel.

To me, the introduction of Mata completely changed the game. If Jose ever leaves him out, I personally will fly to London to kick his ass. A fair result for Chelsea, even a bit unlucky, I feel. Schurrle should have scored, then.
