I think another world class striker would be too much, but someone good like Bony or Benteke (or anyone similar) would be the perfect fit for us. What I see in Remy is a stop gap striker who will be replaced in few years time because he wont advance in his game here, much like Ba (bald prediction I know, but i think thats exactly how it will be). Bony type wouldnt be too expensive, still play alot of games and keep improving himself and team. Remy will add us quantity, but not quality IMO, then again who am to see in future...

I dont see how is Remy better than Ba... He is better dribbler and faster, but Ba is better finisher.

I know Remy is decent striker but people will be too excited about Torres leaving and will expect alot from Remy like he is Messi or sth, same that happend with Ba. Honestly, I dont expect many goals from Remy, maybe 10 at most, but that will be success if he does. I still dont see him as someone who will properly replace Costa if he faces lenghty injury. I just dont find Remy proper character wanting to achieve more and win trophies. He looks after money thats why he went to QPR in first place. Dont forget he was absolutely terrible in first season with QPR too, as was with Marseile last season. But for 8m, I hope he does well. I would just prefer a player with some more potential, someone who is eager to compete with Costa, improve and give most in every game he gets. Just dont see that in Remy unfortunely.

I hope this whole Di Maria thing turns against Madrid because they are terrible at transfers. Barca with this defence and no buys in next two years looks joke too. On other hand, madrid has no steel in midfield either. Both times when atletico pressed, after real scored in first game and then at home when they wanted quick goal, they managed to do that in few minutes. Real with Kroos and Modric in CM plus Pepe and ramos who is more forward than defender, while casillas in goal means no trouble for better team, as long you dont concede 5 from bale, ronaldo etc. Even bayern fucked up a bit with bringing Pep, united shit as never before and city who have no real balls as seen many times in CL, if we realy improve ourselves we can get on top of europe in max two years.

I completely agree with you. They did great signing in Lopez and they could make more such signings if they had brain. I will never understand why they buy Matri, Poli, Zapata etc when they could buy top clubs rejects who are still great players like Diego Lopez. As for money, Berlusconi took all that money from companies and never returned it to them. He kept diginig and diging and those companies still did well because of general profit. Now they are in loss for lot of money every year and instead of investing in club, Berlusconi is taking money away to firms and cover the loss. Sure he wont take money out of his pocket, even if he has it, he is too greedy to do that. I believe milan because of berlusconi is still in huge debt and this milan will remain average for quite some time... But you dont need tons of money, just brain. And Silvio, Galiani or rest of board seems to not have it. Even buy of Baloteli is stupid, considering they sold him for 10m less and he did shit all at milan. Heard they also want to sell Sciglio for another winger, cant understand how are you prepared to sell your best youth player atm, when they could sell him in few years for much more.

Berlusconi's company Fininvest who was one of major investors in new buys at Milan ended last year with 428m loss. Most of Berlusconi companies are in similar situation. Thats why they apparently cant buy big players anymore.
