I was really looking forward to Roma appointing AVB as their new manager so that Raul could join him there but sadly the move didn't happen.Raul has been a great versatile squad player for us but it'd be best if he joins a club where he'll get the chance to play every week and that too as a CAM and not a defensive midfielder.His departure could help the likes of Josh(if not sent on loan)to get some great first team experience and the chance to build upon a fantastic Chelsea career.

No doubt he's a terrific player but I think he missed the bus a year ago and he can only blame Levy for that.No point spending anything more than 25m on him now,it'd best if he tries his luck in Spain and opt for Madrid instead of the Manchester clubs.

World class players don't come cheap and IMO 38m is a fair deal.

Manchester United are a great club and although they haven't been playing well in recent months they still have a great structure and manager.So not really surprised why Kagawa chose United.I think its good to know that the next season is going to be more competitive and that premiership clubs are trying their best to deny us winning the league. Hulk+Hazard+Mata=Trophies.

I hope this thread gets locked soon,just like the Hazard one.Can't wait for the Official:Chelsea sign Hulk thread.

Whats up with England's new manager.Every day one of their players is getting injured,won't be surprised if Scholes gets asked to come out of retirement or better,Neville gets a playing role too.

Some fans just remember him for his mistakes. It's a travesty that they tend to overlook his positive contributions with the few mistakes he made in the past 6 years for Chelsea. He wasn't our best player but he also wasn't the worst,played for the club and gave his 100%. Not the kind of player who deserves a stand to be named after him or anything big,just needs to be appreciated.I thank him for the memories and hope he has a successful future up ahead. 32m for Hazard and 38m for Hulk.This 70m investment is going to pay back a lot of dividends.

Why make a midfielder play right back?Are we going to give Cahill or Terry the chance to play cf too?

If you think Torres is going to score plenty next season because of the arrivals of Hazard and Hulk then imagine what Danny would be capable of.Having scored 18 goals as a winger I can expect at least the same number of goals in the first half of the season alone.I really hope the manager gives him the chance he deserves.

If we stick with the 4 2 3 1 formation then Ramires is my man for the right winger role.As tempting as it is to have Hulk and Hazard in one lineup,I just don't see the deal happening at all because of Porto's demands.40m is more than a reasonable amount for him but I can be empathic at the same time.18 months ago,we spent 50m on Torres so I can see why Porto would want more.Porto must come to terms that Chelsea will not pay more than 40m and should know that not many other top clubs will offer that kind of money. IF he wants to play for PSG or Anzi then so be it,Ramires has been fantastic for us as a player and the talk of him occupying the right back role officially is just absurd.He's a midfielder for god sake and I'd like to continue on see play in that role. Not getting Hulk won't be the end of the world.

I am tired of this Hulk transfer.If Porto feel that 35m or even 40m is not enough for the player then we should just end the deal and look for other alternatives.

Everyone wants Pep here but no one wants RDM to leave especially after winning two major trophies in 3 months.I wouldn't mind having Pep as our manager but I'd like see RDM get a chance and 1 year is not enough.RDM can be our perfect manager if he is given full power and responsibility and lastly but not least TIME.

Sometimes I wish we just gave all the transfer responsibilities to the manager.RDM would scout some unbelievable talent for us.Sick of the board deciding everything,the manager knows best and there must be a change in activities soon.

but since Lampard and Mikel are not natural defensive midfielders although they've done a remarkable job at that position,I can see them adapt to a 3 4 3 but still I think changing the whole formation just so that Ramires and Hulk can play together could be naive.

If we want to play Ramires and Hulk together then we must either play 4 3 3 or change to a totally different lineup where we'll play 3 defenders at the back and use Cole/Bertrand and Ramires for the out wide roles.The latter could happen if Pep takes over.
