This is the stage where we fans should support our manager.The man is under pressure and needs to prove his doubters wrong.Some of them are present in this forum and well my advice to you guys is just wait till the end of the season and then judge him.A change in manager at this stage will not fix anything and will only lead to more problems.Some may feel that its time for a change but I urge everyone to keep on supporting our talented manager.We want longevity but yet we still call for change halfway through the season,it just can't happen.Stick with AVB and keep the faith.

Everton were by far the better team.They played a good game of football and pressed really hard.Unlike Chelsea,Everton don't have the luxury to sign players worth 15m+.David Moyes manages with what he has and man,hes done an excellent job.As for Chelsea,AVB has a massive task ahead of him.He needs to win games and ensure that we finish 4th.The race for 4th place looks more exciting than the title race and we MUST finish 4th.

Only an own goal can save us now.

Midfielders have passed the ball more to Cech than to Torres.

We haven't had a commanding lead against any 'mediocre' teams lately as we win only by 1 goal margin.This could be the reason why the likes of Bertnard and Piazon rarely get a chance.I strongly advise AVB to rest Cole by giving some match time to Bertnard.Surely this can happen.

Many Chelsea fans feel that we need world class signings such as Modric,Hulk etc so that we can be the team we used to be.What we forget is that we have a lot of talented reserve players who can help us achieve the glory we are after.Players like Bertnard,McEacherean,Piazon and Huttchinson all deserve to play more for the first team and can be as good as any world class signing. Its time we give them our youngsters a chance and make them feel more important and valuable to our team.Don't want all theses players to end up at Hamburg

Newcastle have a better of chance of finishing fourth than Arsenal.

If I had to choose between Essien and Romeu,I would pick the former.Essien offers more upfront and is more experienced.He also needs to play more but with Ramire's injury I really hope AVB chooses to play Essien Romeu and Lampard as our three midfielders and not play Raul AND Malouda.

We cant expect AVB to be as good as Mourinho It will be very difficult for any manager of immense caliber to try and emulate Mourinho's achievements at Chelsea.It simply can not be done and believe me Roman knows.Now is the time to dwell our time and think what if Roman hadn't sacked Mourinho or even Ancelotti.Andre Villa Boas is our manager and I sure damn believe in him.Roman spent 28m pounds so that he could get him here.We have the most expensive manager in the history of football,spending 13m on a manager is just uncanny but whats more stupid is that some Chelsea fans want him out and ensure that then next managers arrival will cost us at least 20m.Money is not the problem but sustainability is.

I beg to differ.Romeu wasn't considered because our past few games have been against mediocre teams and AVB chose to use an attacking cm in form of meriereles.Also the return of Essien has made it more difficult for Romeu.IMO hes a wonderful talent and is a very good defensive midfielder.His passes are truly exceptional and his defending is top class.

I agree.He's definitely better than Mikel and can be a great player for us but I will be very disappointed if he chooses to go back to Barcelona.

If you ask me,I think AVB is doing a very good job and I feel he can do a better job next season.Our team at the moment is not really strong and we must wait till the end of the season so that there can be an exodus of many Chelsea players.AVB will show his true potential next season as he will have more control of his team and of his players.So just keep the faith and believe in Andre Villa Boas.

Lets just hope Howard doesn't score and Torres does
