It would have been tolerable if Ivanovic has been contributing goals going forward - scoring or assisting - like he did in previous seasons. But the fact that he hasn't done that really makes him an absolute liability in the team (one that is obvious to everyone except a certain Portuguese). The number of simple/easy headers that he's squandered, when he should have scored, this season is a joke!

There's a chance that Arsenal might have 0 points (ZERO!) after MD4 in their group. Back-to-back games against Bayern Munich coming up. Arsenal will be out of the Champions League after MD4 if they lose both games to Bayern and either Olympiacos or Dinamo Zagreb pick up at least 4 points in the next 2 games.

In the context of the group alone, losing to Porto away is by no means a disaster since it's probably our toughest game. But given our current situation, the result and performance are absolutely dire. Watching us play this season has to be one of the funniest things in 2015. We are hilariously bad. We were actually OK going forward - especially in the first half - and created some decent chances which we should have scored (PEDRO FFS!) but defensively, we were atrocious. Never mind the never-ending rubbishness of Ivanovic, that series of Porto attacks and blocks from us late in the second half summed up us perfectly. We are a total mess. There's no organization, no intensity, no commitment, no desire in what we do. It's almost as if everyone is just hoping for things to go our way at the moment. No one in that team is taking any responsibility to help us get out of this mess. Two seasons ago, Mourinho said we 'lacked the 'balls' after losing at Crystal Palace. Think the same phrase can be used on the players right now - those lots are a bunch of pussies. They really are. I miss those days when we have plenty of strong characters in the team - Cech, Carvalho, Terry, Essien, Lampard, Ballack, Drogba etc - and I also miss the time when we keep clean sheets for fun. Now, it's just a group of spineless bastards who have no sense of shame or pride in what they do.
